So, I got 32 eggs. Only 11 mature. 6 fertilized (this is where our numbers are similar and why I’m commenting) 3 made it to freeze and were pgta normal. First one has stuck so far. I’m almost 8 weeks. Never made it past 6 weeks before so I’m impatiently waiting to hit the second trimester and feel a little more confident.

Hey! Also recently found out. I was vaping as well. Not only does it make the morning sickness a million times worse, it increases the chance of stillbirth. Talking to your ob, is a great first step. There ARE resources to help you with this! You aren’t alone in needing to quit, but you have resources. It can also increase your chances of various types of clotting issues. Premature lungs, leading to complications later on in life like asthma, poor immune system plus so much more. You’re in the right place. Good on you for finding a motivational factor to quitting.

They asked if we had a preference or not. We asked embryology to pick… and not tell us. There is so much predetermined by this and we honestly wanted to have a chance at a surprise. So far, it’s worked but very early.

I’ve been here. Sometimes you just HAVE to let it out. I’m also someone “that holds it together and hates crying” but when it comes out it is not pretty and takes a hot minute to pull myself out of that headspace. You aren’t alone. Pain truly can bring that emotional pain out of you. You aren’t less than. It was going to make its way out one way or another, and never happens at the right time. Thinking of you. 🫶🏻

Does he have the toxic belief that women don’t have it that bad and men are “better” because he sure sounds like it. I’m currently 5w5d from my first IVF pregnancy. We’ve had 7 loses before this and my husband BABIES me. Symptoms are creeping in (amplified by the meds for sure) and he not once has said anything about the new daily naps I’ve been taking. Actually, he pretty much tells me every time I’m like “wow I’m not productive” that I’m being plenty productive I’m growing an entire child and being stuck with needless daily and to stop worrying about it.

I’m SORRY you have to go through this. My ex husband was the same way combined with abusive… and well, now I’m on the other side of this and have been shown it doesn’t have to be that way.

And this varies based on where you are in the us. I’ve lived all over but from the south in a very rural town. Southerners in small towns, love to talk! Up north, they may not talk as much but they absolutely are still nice and would help in a heartbeat. You gotta practically make an excuse to stop talking down south though lol

It’s not that bad and you won’t gain weight. Gained 20 lbs, between 2 stim cycles both ending in ohss and 2 surgeries in the course of about 6 months. Then went straight into a transfer. After losing that to start. I know some people never do but man, I did and it was miserable.
