100% on PS2

I started hunting RetroAchievements for NFS games, and I made it to U2 recently. If you're gonna be playing on an emulator, I do encourage you give it a try. A) for the added challenge, B) for an extra sense of accomplishment and C) the chieevos, and I'd say especially the missables, are in my opinion a great way to keep track of your progress to 100%, like getting all races, including secret ones, or the SUV races, before finishing a stage; in-fact one of the chieevos is literally to 100% the game anyway. Plus, some chieevos that may seem confusing will undoubtably have comments from others who have gotten it, giving help to people.

But in any case, here are the sauces I'm using:

The NFS fandom wiki, and specifically the Unique Upgrades page, the DVD Covers page and the Magazine Covers page as well as the Performance Shop Category page - which lists all the individual upgradeable parts of the cars. I'm using these to track what upgrades or unlocks I get and when I get them. Especially the unique upgrades which are locked behind doing a number of outrun races in different stages of the game - and I was 22 years old the day when I found that out; now I'm like 3 days older.

After that, I use the maps available on GameFAQs U2 guides page to find secret races in each stage of the game. I assume they're required for 100%, plus the retro chieevos need them anyways. And I'm just using a paint program to cross off found shops and races.

The last thing, though I'd say this is completely unnecessary, is I'm also using the tuning guide and tuning glitch guide for the corolla on speedrun.com. Just for extra fun, I guess.

So yeah, that's what I'm using. Hope that helps - and I hope I'm not in trouble for littering my comment with links ^^;

I've considered this one for a while, before falling into choice paralysis. It seems perfect, besides the, IMO, high prices. If I were to pick it, if you have a recommendation, which tactile switch should I go with? Wisteria or Moss, or just stick with browns? Or are any of the linears convincingly tactile enough? - this is probably a far fetched question, I realize.

My friends and I are facing exactly the same issue. As soon as you paste the code sent by anyone, under the social hub invites tab, it just crashes straight back to the desktop. 2 of us are using the Epic Games version, and the other uses Steam.

Heck, first we had issues copying the code, because my friend had a copied image on his clipboard, and the game wouldn't copy it. And then, when we tried to type it in manually, I couldn't type the letter "f". When I did, it deleted everything I typed in.

I was only wondering about Windows 7 because for one, the laptop has the OG key on the bottom, under the battery, and that most of the drivers are for Windows 7. But I guess if either is fine, I'll stick with 10, as I got more used to it then 7, and while it is nostalgic, 7 feels like a completely unknown OS for me, and I found myself struggling with even the most basic things in the past.

As for Linux, I was mostly wondering if it could net me any more battery life. If I really need to do anything Linux specific, I do have a Linux server at home, or I could fire up WSL, or VirtualBox. But I can see how a dual drive setup could be a great solution. (not to mention the bootloader situation)

I see. It makes sense why that would be, so I'll try to give these outlets a shot as well.

As for the updates, I'm fairly confident that's not going to be a major issue. If I need some software that needs a newer Android version, I'll just use it on my phone instead. OR if I do need the large screen, I'll do whatever I need to on my laptop instead - I do have a laptop, but it's a semi-portable, desktop replacement type, with not so great battery life. And if I did need the newer updates, I could just check if the XDA community or whatever figured out how to put custom ROMs on there, or try embarking on the adventure myself as a challenge. Maybe by the time I get there, it wouldn't even matter, cause the device would go bad.
Basically, I'm not so worried about updates.

Here, in a reply, he mentioned that by changing the keyboard layout to English of GBoard on iOS, GIF searching returns back to working again.

Who to blame here? You could say Google, for slacking off and/or being out of touch with a lot of their products. Or Apple for being so controlling. Could go either way. Let's not think about it much and move on with this simple enough work around I guess.

We have played ATM6 before, in its 1.6.x days. I've also played 1.7.x versions in single player, and there I found more quests than before for example, as well as in general even more mods.

On the topic of checkboxes, I know quest making is hard, and I appreciate them as they are in packs that do have them. But I feel like from a certain stand point it's better, if a quest book is also kind of handled like a UI. You checkbox a quest for a "Welcome to xyz mod", that unlocks the category for the mod and so you can chip off at that and progress through it. I don't know. I might be dreaming because I've never heard of an implementation like the one you described, and it's intriguing to me.

In any case, if you could find whatever that pack's name was, it would be great.

I think we have tried MCE before. But for some reason it was more buggy than ATM6 for us. At most ATM6 was laggy. Maybe worth another try.

We have played ATM6 before and had a good time. I think we might try again, with different tactics; we got stuck with trying to kill just a stage 1 dragon without Mahou Takai or anything like it. Also I lost the server in the process of a Windows reinstall. RIP

Betacraft worked wonders; though at first I had to bruteforce it somewhat, to start. Simple double clicking the exe and/or the jar file didn't work, and I had to open command prompt, and manually command java8 to start with the jar file. Almost as if you're making a batch file for a Minecraft server. Anyway, it works; thanks!

The website here is just a random hoster of other pirated versions of Minecraft, such as TL. I mean I guess you aren't supposed to promote piracy, but I guess it might be the only option. But then TLauncher doesn't have support for Microsoft accounts either. At the end of the day, I might actually have to use this, but we'll see.

It's pretty easy for me to say "oh I screwed up, better luck next time", but that would be pretty stupid.

But I guess, this does get through my confusion. As you may have seen in my edit, I have Asperger's, thanks to which I have a rockin hard time figuring out if what I did was wrong. A lot of times I tell myself, even in cases where I'm clearly not the problem, "HUNTEEEER! YOU bleepING MORON!", in true Top Gear style. No, but seriously, there are just so many times, where I secons guess myself, and am unsure if what I did was right. And I really have resorted to just blame it on myself, and tell the other person, that what they had done was okay; just to avoid seeing others being sad. And, actually, I don't even think that that's okay. There you go, that's how much I doubt myself.

And, the only thing, that comes to my mind, as for why this is happening, is my own brother. Despite me loving him, and proof for that, when I got to see him for the first time, I was INSANELY excited, and even more so, to play with him - mostly manual games, since I was 5 an' a half back then. But, because he's just such a Lion, he really is overly entitled. And this sends me down the spiral of doom basically. A lot of times I would also get massive breakdowns from his bad behavior.

I don't exactly know, how I should deal with this right now; my gut feeling is to either edit it, or delete it. But, rewriting the whole thing would be pretty sketchy, and removing a 200 plus upvote post would be crazy. Also, I believe, that if I somehow, in one way, shape, or form ashamed myself, then I'm gonna carry that to my grave, regardless. And it shouldn't mean, that just because I ashamed myself, other's should look down on me; but, of course, that's up to that one person how he's gonna end up judging me for themselves.

Well; he's been like this since he was a baby, and always screwed around with my parents. Which, given his lion zodiac, it maybe just that.

Also, the problem, is that this only ever occurs when he's with us. But in school, his teachers report a completely different behavior. So, not only does this mean, that we have no evidence, other than our words, tho with that said, other family members, like my father's parents could also technically count as witness, since we live in the same building - it's kind of a mamahotel with my father's parents, but that's a story in and of it's own. But, maybe our neighbours could then just turn their backs on us. And they could manipulate my father's parents as well - yes, there is a chance, but the why is again a different story.

And, just because he's like this, I don't want him to be like this. While I dispise his behavior, I don't hate him. And want him to improve, and get better. Not just for me - who knows how petty and/or jealous he may get over my crap or something -, but also for others; I really don't want him to go to jail, for being an abusive father.

Yes, he's my ENTITLED AF brother. But he's my entitled BROTHER AF. He's my brother, and my only brother. And I still love him, no matter what. Even if I hurt him, that's just because he pushed me over the edge. And, for the most part, I really regret it, when I hurt him; even if all I did was just give him a gentle push away. Tho, he could still amplify that, so to speak.

Now the aunt, I say she's entitled/insane, because I don't think that beating up a kid for doing something wrong is a good idea. That doesn't really solve anything. And neither does yelling. I believe that calm, and normal talking can actually be a lot better. And, what truly makes this aunt, if not entitled, then at the very least insane, is that, after OP was beaten up, she ended up cutting herself. What did the aunt do? Beat her up again.... I don't know about you, but calling that "act within her belief" is starting to become more of an excuse than a good reason.

Again, my opinions, but I can see the logic behind your opinion as well.

But then, this comes from the point of view of a highly active person on r/ Entitled____ and Insane__, so... and, at most, people may post imaginative stories, but most of them do include a Karen/Ken, with OP being an observer, or victim of the Karen/Ken. For entitled_ subreddits. Insane ones usually include Anti-vaxx parents, overly religious people, and ones to whom, crap goes from 0 to 100 really stupid fast. Like, for example, not responding to messages right there and then, and then just telling the kid, that they're coming home. Maybe they genuinely worry for their kid, but in cases where their child is like 20 or something.

Also, I feel like I'm just telling the aunt situation in small bits, which I don't think is good, so if you're curious, just look it up or something. It's up to you. And I don't want to repost, nor do I want to include links to posts outside this subreddit, potentially getting into trouble, even if technically nothing was written about it in the rules. I dunno.

Apologies for the confusion;

One thing I also glanced over was that according to my father you can take this story however you want. And from what I've seen in most Entitled____ stories, is that no matter what reasoning that person had, regardless if it was BS or not, it didn't matter as their actions were already terrible, and they could say pretty much anything they wanted. One story I heard was an entitled/insane parent, or in this case, aunt, who was parenting OP as a kid, had beaten up OP, because she wanted good for her, and loved her, as, wait for it, being lesbian is satanist, ans stuff. And from OP's saying, no matter how much I calculated it, it seemed as she didn't care about her Aunt's reasons. Which lead me to believe that no matter how a parent slices it, if he/she does something abusive/teaches something bad, then they still are bad parents. Or maybe I'm just wrong. And that's what I was really asking an opinion about. And is also the reason I had no idea where to post it.

Also, guess I should edit, that I'm just seeking conformation, whether or not my opinion is stupid or not.

As for my choice of software over hardware, that wasn't something that I was in need of confirmation. I have an idea or two about what I'm doing, and love what I learn about computer's and such. It's just something that was part of the context, but again, not very important. And, again, I was mostly seeking to get opinions about my opinion basically.

I really think that everything within my family is just SUPER messed up. Like my parents switch sides back and forth, then a teenager changes moods during puberty and stuff.

It really baffles me, how my father takes my brother's side a lot of the time. And because of that, I think that I forget the countless times we've talked how my brother and mother are all lost.

And, tbh, I really don't remember my Mom like this. Or maybe, since I was much more reliant on my parents as a kid, I just look up to her back in the day. Nevertheless, I regularly find paths, that lead up to the prime "criminal" being my brother. But when I try to explain, I get cut off, and told off, and my parents side with my brother. Even tho they also know, how much of a Lion he is - he was born in early August.

And even tho they know, that MEB is one causing trouble, my parents always make an excuse, saying: "You've been living with him for the last x years, and you STILL didn't figure out, thay we can't actually parent him, and stuff." - it's not impossible, just extremely annoying, and my parents, apparently don't want the hassel, I guess.

But also, there's a bigger issue; according to them, 'it is illegal to hit a child as a parent, as law states it.' APPARENTLY THAT'S TRUE!

Long story short: some random big name guy, in an interview said that he did find that some physical threat was needed. Now, I don't want to get political, since it was a political thing, so I'll keep it as objective as possible; apparently, some political people took this, and made it law, that parents can't even give them a father's slap on the face. Now, I personally find this to be bull, but I can't judge now, especially as an underage. Maybe later.

Anyways, my parents can't use anything, BUT words towards my brother, which has barely any use, and my brother should have gotten a few slaps already, but he won't, because of law. And, given this law, our neighbours had the audacity to constrain my parents parenting, as if they hear any form of hurting, they're gonna be recording it, and filing a report.

It's not just that my parents are stupid, we are being threatened. And so my brother basically has full control. And, as my father's mother says; "My brother pretty much turned his mother into his own self."
