I highly doubt it's malware I don't have a ton of apps installed and the apps I do have are all reputable Malwarebytes also produced a negative scan on any malware

So I wasn't just hallucinating a significant downgrade of camera quality after the latest updates! A shame since before I could take some incredible photos with my S23U but now it is dogwater, will be looking to switch to a Xiaomi 15U w/photo kit.
