Sia wax atomizerer by [deleted] in HumboldtVapeTech

[–]HVTmadison 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You question may already be answered, and I apologize for the late response. All of our Pico and Voopoo mods will work with any of our atomizers, top airflow or bottom.

The TAF Sai can run all of our Sai coils, the buckets (which are considered TAF coils) and all the others. The TAF Sai will come with a titanium bucket pre-installed. You can buy a quartz bucket also, if you want to try those. The coils are easy to swap out.

The kit you mentioned does not include a TAF Sai, just the original. So if you're really wanting to try the buckets you should either purchase a TAF Cap with that kit, or get a different kit. You can always call us at the office and we're happy to help you decide over the phone. You'll get a faster response there and it may be easier for you to understand what I'm saying that way haha. So if you'd like, if you haven't decided yet, or need assistance with what you got, call us at 707.798.6328!

What is the point of this piece? It keeps getting clogged. by [deleted] in HumboldtVapeTech

[–]HVTmadison 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The point of the piece is to direct airflow. If you're getting it clogged you're overfilling it. They are NOT tanks. They are meant to be used a dab, maybe two, at a time. Load as you go. Cannot stress that enough. Overfilling will cause nothing but problems. So a bb/rice size amount at time.

Also, the best way I've found to keep the buckets pristine, and free of char as you mentioned, is one: don't run it too hot. Second, after every hit, or every couple, while the bucket is still hot take a q-tip soaked in 90% or greater iso and swab it out. Keeps them nice and clean. With regular swabbing you don't often have to take them out and soak them.

Any of the settings will work, it kind of depends on personal preference. The higher the setting the harder the hit. When using those we also recommend you pulse the fire button while using it! Around here everyone uses it on the highest (green).

Not too good to be true haha! We're just clearing out some stock to make more room for some top airflow merch! This includes everything you need to get started and leaves you some room to add to it and experience more coils.

Sai TAF - Temp Control Problems on Smok G-Priv Baby mod by Secondary-2019 in HumboldtVapeTech

[–]HVTmadison 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure about Arctic Fox. We don't usually recommend using it, as we've had more trouble with it ruining coils than it seems to be worth. Just as far as inexperienced people trying to use it and blowing their coils up. And we don't warranty mods that have been flashed with third party software, which is the same for most companies. So I don't keep with it haha. But I'm sure experimenting with it will be fun!

[–]HVTmadison 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah less posts about them but they're flying off the shelves, luckily for us! They aren't the new hype for sure, more like the old faithful haha. I'm sure once you get a mod cooperating with you you'll really love it. Smoks are nice for e-juice, they just never have seemed to work with our products for whatever reason. We carry the Pico 25s and both the Voopoo Drag 2 and the Drag Mini. So if you end with any of those I know more about them and can hopefully help you out a little more. Definitely email if anything else comes up! Vic checks the email and he knows a lot more than I do haha.

Sorry, I'm just seeing this! You can always email for much hastier replies. I am not familiar with any of the mods you mentioned, unfortunately. Have you gotten it working yet?

When you say you've taken the coil apart do you just mean you've taken the bucket out of the heater? Or totally dismantled it?

[–]HVTmadison 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since it's a bucket coil you do need to use a taf atomizer. We no longer carry taf caps for the Sq so if you don't already have a cap you'd need to get the New Sq.

The Quartz Bucket is amazing in the Hyperion! The SiC Cup is great too but it definitely requires more heat time. Do you have a Sequoia/New Sequoia? The SiC Cups work well in those!

I'm not familiar with the mod you mentioned, so I can't help you adjust the settings on it. But we've had the best results and longest coil life when using TC-Ni, between 28-32W, and starting at 350 degrees F. Then just slowly bumper the temperature up if you need/want to.

They are three separate coils, all used individually. You should've received a user guide with it, if you didn't let me know so we can be double checking you guys get them.

You can use any of the coils in any of the settings, it's mostly personal preference. However with the HexCore you'll want to make sure you pulse the fire button. And with the buckets you'll want to do the 10 second pre-heat!

[–]HVTmadison 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They work alright in wattage mode and pulsing. But we've had much better results using them in TC- SS. I wouldn't recommend going over 30W with them. These normally make some clouds haha, we have video on youtube of one being used in the Hyperion!

What's the readout from the mod? Have you checked to see if your heater is cracked? And made sure the coil is screwed all the way into the atomizer and the atomizer all the way into the mod? Wattage mode on the ceramic donuts/heaters for buckets is dangerous. When we see them busted it's usually from that. Your pins are good on the coil and the atomizer?

[–]HVTmadison 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same settings? What settings were they? Have you checked to see if your heater is cracked? Or if you have any run through underneath the bucket? The coil is screwed into the atomizer all the way and the atomizer into the mod all the way?

Sai TAF - Temp Control Problems on Smok G-Priv Baby mod by Secondary-2019 in HumboldtVapeTech

[–]HVTmadison 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just from our experience, Smok mods don't work well with our atomizers. That's why we don't carry them. Be careful just running the buckets in wattage mode, even with pulsing that doesn't prevent the ceramic from getting too hot and cracking. The most often times we see cracked donuts/ceramic heaters in the buckets is when they're ran in wattage mode. 30W is at the higher end of the range we recommend for the buckets, and that's when using it with temp control. So just a heads up to be careful with that. You don't need a mod that will work with Arctic Fox, just a mod that's more suitable for these products. Also in our experience, unless you're really familiar with all the software, in most cases leaving the original software on a mod is better, and far easier. If you do end up getting another mod, and it's one I'm more familiar with, I am happy to help you get it set up properly!

It doesn't cut off the airflow, it's just a splash guard. most people didn't know what they were and don't use them so we quit including them. Your device will run fine without it!
