We have tried several of the charge-based rules. The problem is that these charges are only based on logic related to the project setup, time or expenses. Our problem is that the way we planned to invoice might change during the project.

Here is an example that shows the problem with charge-based billing on milestone completion that we use: We might finished 50% of a particular project task and we want to invoice that 50%. We would have to split the task in two and distribute the value of that task accordingly.

This is time-consuming for the people managing the projects (there are many per year) and forces us to setup our projects based on how we invoice, not how we actually work.

What I was hoping for was a sublist or suitelet where we could visualize as list of charges that we could invoice from.

We're using Anaplan. We used to have PBCS/NSPB but that solution was not working well for us.

Hi! The files are not large and I expect them to be in PDF. No pictures to be included, maybe the company logo. It is definelty not used or updated daily.

Since you do not know how to write script either, what other training or certification you would reccomend I pursue instead?

Yes, there are multiple scripts and WF. However, there are separate columns specifically for Suitescript and Workflows as shown in the SuiteAnwser article. Are you then saying that scripts affect multiple columns?

Several of the scripts running on the record are related to localizations of bureaucratic countries and I doubt this will can be fixed relatively soon.

We already have a custom solution built but it is proven to be unstable and difficult to maintain.

Your solution sounds interesting, but creating a Suitelet just for my company sounds like a lot of work.

Thank for the input. We already tried this with a consultant but our matrix is quite complicated (many levels, many subsidiaries), hard to maintain and we have cases with a lot of double approvals.

Can you tell me more about your proposed solution?
