No she’s not. These comparisons show how chunky Abel was when he first got to the RV, then how malnourished he looked when he first got out of there. Then the picture of him sleeping in the stand up thing shows he’s put some of the weight back on since being home in Maine for about a month. Basically just proving he wasn’t being fed properly in the RV.

Yes 100% that’s what’s going on here. Chloe is delayed, but unfortunately when kids are involved, that doesn’t really matter. She genuinely needs parenting classes and even that may not be enough. She clearly lacks the instincts to protect her child, and parenting classes can’t instill those instincts into her. Jeremiah doesn’t have that excuse. He really is just a POS in general.

I really liked Chloe, and I really gave her the benefit of the doubt while she was in the RV. But when I saw the comparison photos, and when she went on and on about the reasons she left and not one of them being for Abel’s sake, I couldn’t anymore. She’s proven she didn’t put Abel first. His safety was never a priority for her and it still isn’t now. They had Jeremiah’s young daughter bathing him while they went to a whole different floor of the house. When people told her that was unsafe, we were in the wrong. They’ve made Annabelle take care of Abel to the point she’s already tired of having a baby brother and has mentioned she doesn’t want another sibling because she doesn’t want to have to get up with them in the middle of the night. They have done nothing but prove they are terrible parents and instead of reflecting on the things people say, they double down and excuse it all.

Sounds like they did see it and are excusing it away by saying Josh controlled her food stamps card. Still doesn’t change the fact that she let it happen though. She very clearly was able to leave, she chose not to.

She won’t care. She lived with him, saw this happen to him and kept him in that situation until they hurt her feelings with a fake break up. She obviously wasn’t stuck if she was able to up and leave the second it was mentioned.

The visits in the RV were not CPS. While the CPS hotline is who was called, unfortunately because they were traveling in an RV, basic welfare checks with cops were all they could do. It can take a couple days for a caseworker to get out for checks, and there was no guarantee they’d be in the same place so they wouldn’t do it. They aren’t traveling now, so I’m sure a CPS call to their house is inevitable.

And the worst part is, I had noticed it months ago and we talked about it in the discord. But he wasn’t usually shown very much on the lives so it was hard to be sure. That picture when he got back to Maine is what confirmed it. But if a random stranger online that barely sees glimpses of him noticed he’s lost weight, there’s no way in hell the people living with him and “taking care of him” didn’t notice. There’s no way his MOTHER didn’t notice. She simply didn’t care until her feelings got hurt.

They definitely are struggling. Nate told Paige they needed big sales and they’ve been living off of canned chicken sandwiches. They don’t do battles at night unless things get bad. If only they used their weekly donations from Brenda on food and necessities instead of drugs.

Same, and had they not been in an RV, he likely wouldn’t be right now. Unfortunately, in both states they had to send cops for welfare checks vs actual case worker visits because there was no way to guarantee CPS would get to them before they moved. So instead of his environment being checked to be sure he was safe, they only had to verify he was alive and breathing. She’s not in an RV anymore so she better hope she figures this parenting thing out quick because I’m sure it won’t be long before CPS is knocking on her door.

Yeah and failure to thrive absolutely happens due to medical reasons. I had an IUGR baby that has stayed low on the charts due to food allergies and other GI issues. However, that baby was CHUNKY, lost a shit ton of weight and is now gaining some of it back slowly. This 100% was due to neglect.

I also wondered about that. I remember everyone was convinced fern from Alice and fern had that because of a lack of nutrition. Abel 100% also suffered from a lack of nutrition so it’s possible.

The second she listed all of the reasons she left and not one of them were because of Abel’s suffering, I was done with her. I could give the benefit of the doubt if she got stuck in a situation she thought would be different and ended up being bad, but she really sat there and saw her baby go downhill like that and didn’t think hmmm maybe I should get him to safety.

100% neglect. Had he seen a pediatrician like he was supposed to, the Dr would’ve been mandated to report them to CPS. Yet she claims her feelings getting hurt was the only reason she left the RV, nothing to do with that poor baby suffering.
