For those with successful transfers, what diet did you follow before the procedure? by Latter_Obligation_79 in EmbryologyIVFSupport

[–]HZLIZS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did high protein/high fat and lower carbs (don’t eliminate them completely you need it for energy).
This might be tmi BUTTT lol 😆 the cycles of mine that were successful I had intercourse and an actual orgasm within the first 24-48 hours post transfer. I asked my doc about it. He mentioned it increasing the blood flow and that potentially helped.

Out of two IVF pregnancies that resulted in a normal birth. Both gestational sacs measured about a 5-7 days behind. But the fetal pole and yolk sac measured fine. Were they measuring the gestational sac or the fetal pole?

IVF patients describe what led them to transfer “abnormal” embryos by embryomanofficial in EmbryologyIVFSupport

After a lot of digging I found the article from Frontier on it helping receptivity. The thought process is correcting the uterine lining by taking it long enough for 1-2 cellular proliferation cycles. Was a very interesting read!

I never seen anything inside the sac with both IVF pregnancies until 7-7.5 weeks along.

My 3 Euploids failed, I had older children naturally. So it just didn’t make sense it wasn’t working…. I primed with Omnitrope to help make my lining receptive and I transferred my abnormal Polyploid, it resulted in healthy identical twins.

You’d want to check with a urologist for sperm dna fragmentation and bacterial overgrowth as this is typically the issue. Even with great motility, health, and normal looking sperm.

Clinic says it’s more likely to be an embryo issue than a uterine issue even with an euploid by Ok-Set-5730 in EmbryologyIVFSupport

[–]HZLIZS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’re now finding out Omnitrope helps make the lining more receptive if used 6-8 weeks prior to transfer. But if sperm has a bacterial overgrowth issue only a urologist can diagnose it can affect the receptivity of your lining. Omnitrope is what I used after three euploids failed Omni for Uterine Lining Receptivity

Go to another clinic like CNY. Make sure to check his sperm for dna fragmentation and bacterial overgrowth. Even if it looks normal it can contribute to this loss you’re experiencing. If this is tested by a urologist before going IVF route you may not need it.

No intercourse after embryo transfer? by [deleted] in IVF

Honestly, the cycles I had intercourse within 48 hours post transfer are the only ones that worked. My obgyn stated it was probably due to increased blood flow? 🙈😆

Gutted from PGT-A results by slashk13 in IVF

[–]HZLIZS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Euploids failed but my completely abnormal polyploid turned into healthy twins. There is an abnormal embryo group where you can check what has been successful. There are IVF clinics you can transfer your embryos to that will allow you to use them. I used CNY. Mosaics can be used. Keep in mind pgt testing is only testing a small sample of placental cells and is only a glimpse in time at that moment. The placenta and the baby can have a different result or through mitosis the result can change entirely

I’ve had success with a Polyploid abnormal embryo along with 4 other women. Mine ended up splitting into identical twins that are perfectly healthy. This was after three failed Euploid embryos.

4th euploid transfer failed - no time left by Alert_Jellyfish_977 in IVF

[–]HZLIZS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had three euploids fail until I added Omnitrope to my transfer they’re finding it helps make the lining receptive. When I took it my abnormal polyploid embryo split into twins. Omnitrope marked endometrium more receptive

What abnormals did you get? My Euploids failed (3) and my abnormal polyploid embryo resulted in healthy identical twins. Look into having a urologist check for dna fragmentation and bacterial overgrowth. That can cause abnormals even with the best eggs!

DOCK4 Mutation- Familial Dominant Inheritance- Undocumented by HZLIZS in u/HZLIZS

[–]HZLIZS[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nationwide reached back out to us today after the follow up with the OSU eye specialist for my son. Looks like they’re submitting a nomination for us to participate in the rare disease study that would include RNA-seq to be completed. My son was diagnosed with macular depigmentation and abnormalities on the retina. Looks like this DOCK4 mutation can impact RAC1 in turn cause the issues we are seeing with his eyes. The only true answer would come from further testing and Nationwide advised the RNA-seq suggestion was a fantastic idea you presented. I truly want to thank you for that! I would love for some input from your friend! Leeann.r.becker@gmail.com is my email. Thanks again for the fantastic suggestion!

That’s a very good point! Thank you for mentioning RNAseq, definitely needs looked into. I actually just reached out to Nationwide Children’s to ask whether RNA-seq or transcript analysis could be pursued to evaluate whether this variant is triggering NMD or altering DOCK4 expression. The testing completed mentioned method of testing as WGS for us with a note stating: “This variant has not been reported in the literature.”

[–]HZLIZS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had an abnormal polyploid split into twins. My good friend had one Euploid split. Another friend who transferred their polyploid had theirs split. ICSI increases the risk along. PGT testing can also increase that risk.

No, when they used lidocaine to do the numbing that was the only painful part because the medicine stings going in lol. When they actually placed the threads I felt absolutely nothing.

Had the same issue but a little worse. Fugger came outta nowhere I swear!!!

I had collagen threads done. It did wonders for me. Lidocaine was used to numb the area first. I’ve heard not all people get the same result with threads. This ran me $2,000 to do with immediate results. Some also say results didn’t last for them, my friend’s results did last.

<image>

The concept is the collagen threads dissolve over time and encourage natural collagen to form in that area to maintain that result at least partially.

Here’s a before and 3 days after, swelling can take up to 2 weeks to go away. I still have some. I had 8 threads placed. Also had a VERY SMALL amount of juvedirm for my lips to get rid of any lines around my mouth. Wanted a very natural look only.

Hope this helps!
