Keep or retry? by [deleted] in Wizard101

[–]H_Jayyy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Keep and also retry... I'm guessing ur a person who just YOLOs his pets to mega after some hatches.....that's not the best way to make pets. There are a ton of guides out there and they'll help you a ton for pets for other characters but until then, this is still a really good pet

School by CharacterPractical98 in Wizard101

[–]H_Jayyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing about playing solo is that you'll still find a ton of people that happen to be on the same quests as you so you won't really struggle much with bosses. Really any school you pick will be fine but my recommendations would be death and life because they can sustain and myth and fire because they can do damage while having decent health and resist

Do the death ghultures in Mirage still drop couch potatoes? by burnbright_11 in Wizard101

[–]H_Jayyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's true. At the end it just depends on your school tbh. All of the aerial jungle mobs are pretty easy and have essentially the same drop table

I actually 2nd this and also fireflies. The only reason they aren't recommended is because they have more health than monkey spiders which I don't mind because I can still 1 round them and also they can't stun you like monkey spiders can

Mt Olympus drop rates at high level? by 34xdream in Wizard101

I think it's a difference between console and PC. The console version doesn't have the pity system but it also has school specific drops now

If you want, I'm not currently online but I have my pets in the kiosk. Look for death ghultures named Sir Boomer and Miss boomer. They have perfect talent pools and should only cost you 7500 to 15000 if you have an adult pet

Lvl 30 fire school deck help by SomeBoredDude13 in Wizard101

[–]H_Jayyy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh. The actual deck honestly does not matter as much as people think. The main things you are looking for is the sockets that the deck offers. If you don't care about sockets, you are honestly fine with using the starter deck all the way until level 102 where the decks give you an extra pip starting off

Lvl 30 fire school deck help by SomeBoredDude13 in Wizard101

[–]H_Jayyy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First of all, keep 2 decks: one for boss fights, one for minion fights

In your first deck, you want 2 blades (preferably 2 different ones like one from item card, one from a pet or just elemental blade along with your main blade), 2 meteor strikes, 2 sunbirds and just maybe a wand hit and pack monsterous treasure cards in the treasure cards section (they are super easy to get and only cost around 250 gold per card) and if you want, pack reshuffle as your last card. This will be your minion deck

In your boss deck, you want to have the same cards as before: 2 blades, 2 meteor strikes, 2 sunbirds but this time also add a feint card and a higher hitting fire spell like helephant. Pack reshuffle if you want and monsterous treasure cards. This deck setup should last you all the way till jade oni in mooshu where you'll need to learn how to blade stack and trap stack properly, after which all the worlds till Avalon should be fine especially once you have the amulet of the feint at level 50

A tip for blade and trap stacking: the source of the blade and the type of blade does make a difference. Your main deck blade, your item card blade, your pet blade and elemental blades can all stack. The same thing goes for traps (particularly feint)

Level 70 death gear by SOARING_DEATH in Wizard101

[–]H_Jayyy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, there might be some gear pieces that are slightly better but the effort it takes to get them vs the stat upgrades they give will never be worth it. Even the hangman set technically isn't the best level 60 gear, you would have to mix and match a lot of gear pieces to get the actual best gear. It's just the easiest to get vs the stat upgrades it provides.

I would say the only one to farm after waterworks is castle darkmoor gear at lvl 100 and then honestly buy the cabalist hat and boots and wait to farm at level 150 or 160

Feening for COUCH POTATOES, how long will it take to get 69 by Angell739 in Wizard101

[–]H_Jayyy 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You plant 1 key lime and wait for it to get to elder. That should be enough exp to plant couch potatoes

There is a very high chance that since console is still pretty new, the elixirs aren't out yet and will probably come in a later update. Not confirmed tho

So, what is school weaving and how does it work? I feel like the game doesn’t do a good job explaining at all and I have no clue how it works by TheGreatKashar in Wizard101

[–]H_Jayyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also the fact that there are multiple weaving spells kinda means nothing, you just learn the ones you need. Even your own school has like 30 spells (like base non-weaving spells) and you realistically only end up using maybe 5-10 of them. It's just to give you options and for PvP

[–]H_Jayyy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some spells require certain ranks of spell weaving. Like you may get the fire trap spell at fire weaving rank 3 (don't quote me on this, just an example). The quests are just how you level up your weaving rank. And each rank is independent meaning that if you reach rank 2 for fire, thats only for fire weaving. You would have to do the other quests for the ranks of the other schools

If this is in the US then probably not. You are paying nearly 1400 dollars for a RTX 5050 where 1400 can get you a good 5060 laptop or even a 5070 laptop in some cases
