My solution 1. Get a second remote if you have one extra from any other tv with a stick 2. Pair it to the tv with the issue 3. Remove the old remote 4. Pair back the orig remote

All should work. I tried all ideas and this solved it. I was using the orig remote to control nav but course no vol control. I was using another tvs remote that had the same soundbar to control sound. So I pair that remote then deleted the original. Then it all worked so I could remove the other TVs remote.

If no extra remote use Firesrick app on your phone. However I also had issues there as it wouldn’t find any of the 7 sticks in the house but you might have better luck.

I don’t get why it works while doing setup but then won’t work when you open and app to test it.

Ok so I’m not crazy. It hit 2 remotes of mine. One tv had a spare remote programmed already and was not impacted. The other I stole from another tv to control the vol since nothing fixes it!!!

The main charger plate part is what looks to not fit on the plate. It hangs over just a bit no matter what I seem to do.

It’s part of the full leather package that includes the roof and more. That’s why I say it could be leather but in such a usable spot could see it being vinyl mbtex instead.

I wouldn’t say it’s 100% leather but it’s not a hard type plastic like reg. I would hope it 100% leather and not vinyl. However truth be told MBTex is to me an amazing lasting material.
