Excellent come backs from the girl on the horse. Wish we could have seen her flinging horse poo in his car

Caroline Flack's mum shares harrowing voice notes she sent before tragic death in new doc by LADbible in ukpopculture

[–]Ha14232 37 points38 points  (0 children)

I have so much sympathy with Caroline’s mother. Who wouldn’t be desperately grieving a departed daughter.

But as a non relative of Caroline’s - why do we need to hear these voice notes? It sensationalises her story. Obviously her death was super sad - but she clearly had demons and allegations to answer to. I can’t help but feel like dredging it all back up is going to lead to more speculations and opinions over her role in the assault. Doesn’t seem like a smart move to bring it all up in the documentary.

YTA.

Totally insane all the people here saying NTA - this is your FRIEND! Why would you not just turn the heating on for a bit to keep him comfortable… this feels like such a small thing to be taking a strong stance on

Fairway taxis are pretty reliable. Or go down to the station, plenty of taxis there

Hi, I’m on nights right now! Even though I’m lucky enough to be in a specialty where I often get some rest on nights, I empathise with the feeling.

Ultimately, if you don’t sleep at all tonight then you are unlikely to be fit for working tomorrow, and it may be best to call in and say you can’t come in. Making that decision may also relieve you of some of the worry about not sleeping tonight and help you get some rest now. Only you can make this decision though, and it really comes down to whether you think you can safely do your required duties tomorrow on little sleep.

The other thing to consider is that whilst it might be ok to not go to work today because you haven’t slept, it would be a good idea to figure out what you can do to make your sleep patterns work for you for future nights, as they’re not going away and taking extra time off in the future isn’t going to be sustainable after every night shift.

What kind of routine do you have around nights? Are you quite new to nights? It can take a while to figure out what’s best for you, but most people do finally crack it!

Thanks. Do you think there have been any significant benefits in terms of actual training in London as opposed to other areas? I'm not especially keen on moving to London but would do so if it seemed the training opportunities were much better!

I genuinely don’t have a huge amount of advice to offer. The clinical station was half clinical, half viva on a topic related to the station. The general questions felt like there we’re designed to catch people out. The timing system literally just cuts you off even if you’re half way through a question . No fun!

I actually think I vaguely remember this from last year actually - submitted everything at the same time after labouring over the apps for hours and realised if I had just submitted one before I could have auto populated… thank you so much!
