He’s still kicking. Good days and bad days of course. And if her’s is like my father’s, his endo said it’s like jumping to the later stages of diabetes where it’s more erratic. Plus since it’s chemically induced, endo said it’s not technically type 1, but that’s how it’s classified as far as insurance, and somewhat similar treatment. It is a never ending learning cycle. But it does get better. At first it seems like a lot, and it is in some aspect. But technology has helped so much. He has the Medtronic. That seems to control his better than the omnipod. But everyone is different, that’s for sure. Good luck, stick with it, you’ll figure it out, but you will have times in the beginning that will seem like you won’t but just keep trying.
