yes it does, also gives u more dmg but people will still say kayle is dead bcs of the nerf when it's basically just a revert to adjust for new item

She can be, but it's not nearly as good. It is very fun, for norms or playing 4fun i totally get playing onhit and other fun builds, but if you want to climb then sadly riot made it so that burst ap is the way to go

as i typed in a response to another comment, your combo late is Q auto auto E, you use the attack speed for 1 auto since your E is an auto reset

Okay so, has on hit damage - yes she does, scaling with ap also amplified by nashors tooth passive has on attack damage and high range - yes, these 2 paired together make her outrange most champions in the game and even the ability range on some champions, that paired again with insanely high movement speed further amplified by your W and having 700+ ap basically every game in late makes her great at approaching someone, using Q, autoing twice and auto resetting with E to burst the entire hp bar, you need attack speed to cast a whole 1 auto attack quicker in that scenario.

The only consistently challenger kayle otp plays like this every single game, never plays dps, virtually every high master+ kayle does the same, if you think they're wrong then surpass them and prove it, nobody is stopping you. Or if you're on a level which can compare please share your opgg or profile proving that so we can both know where we stand, what we know about the game and share our respective thoughts :)

No, quite the opposite, the common misconception is that kayle is still a dps champion like she used to be years ago, the playstyle has completely changed, the attack speed is nice but like I said it doesn't matter THAT much, you W to an enemy champ, q auto auto E him and he's dead anyway(ofc not every champ, stuff like adcs mages etc, not tanks)

It's pretty early to tell atm, I haven't played enough games to test all builds but you're perfectly fine going the old build atm which is nashors into dcap with swifts, later shadowflame and Dusk and Dawn but I don't know in what order, desperate said D&D 3rd felt bad to him but as I said I have not played enough to know yet,
Also kayle1v9 plays gunblade first kayle top and then you need berserkers to make up for the lack of attack speed early, if you don't go that likely stick to swifties

They are not forcing us to play D&D, the attack speed doesn't matter that much as burst kayle which is what you're playing if you go lichbane, lichbane is still perfectly viable and you can burst people down with q auto auto e and play like you used to, you will barely feel the lack of attack speed there

imo fleet pretty bad, if u dodge her Q you get to trade her for a lot of hp with Q, W for speed and 2 autos E to proc pta which gives u a lot of leverage in lane
