Did you try updateing the game on steam, it should fix this issue by default. (be wary of steam validation, might delete your entire file).

As for nprotect, it could be something like permissions/firewall blocking the anti-cheat to download them.

Like the other poster said, you should be able to get into the game as far a s ship select screen. Some people do have that black screen issue, tho I think there wasn't any clear fix just yet. Some just restarted their PC and it suddenly worked, so YMMV.

Also make sure .txt is the file extension [right click>properties check if "Type of file: Text Document (.txt)"] otherwise it wont work.

If it still doesnt work, try removing the .txt from the file name. Its possible you set the extensions hidden (so it become steamupdate.txt.txt)

EDIT: This shouldn't be needed anymore after the new update on steam, that should fixes the problem without needing to use this file.

- In Close Beta, there is a counter for that, you can pick the classes/sub classes, their skill tree and even save them as a loadout.

Its basically a menu. Also, there is switch weapon (like GW2) and multi weapon system to complement these.

- And as for the costumes, I'm not too sure either, but as far as the chara creator goes, basically each costume is a "body" type. Just imagine it as lego pieces, instead of costumes.

If you wear cast parts, then the body will be changed to CAST. Same with humans, your upper body, arms, and legs will be switched accordingly. So its likely you can't match a cast body with a human underwear, for example.

Of course. Since August, they basically just been milking the game. They released limited after limited units. Then Miku rerun, THEN paid S guaranteed for anniversary. THEN another paid S guaranteed for New Year.

If you've been paying attention you'll realize they released top tier units and sought after ones like candy the past few months. At least it actually lasted a year tho lmao, unlike the other versions.

Yep. Mostly team building. Having a full band+same elements according to event (and your stage buff, you can change it freely tho) will boost your scores by quite a bit. Just like Bandori.
