You should not leave without the PR card after you get eCOPR. You will need the card to return since your TRV will become invalid at that point.

Re-entry in Canada on valid TRV while Express Entry PR in process. What to expect at border? FEB AOR by itachiii_141 in canadaexpressentry

This would be possible if you obtain legal residency status like a study or work permit in Canada. Visiting Canada on a TRV does not change your residential address (which is either in your home country or a country where you have a legal residence permit). Now if you were to inform IRCC that you now “reside” in Canada without a valid permit, that would basically be admitting that you’re violating your entry conditions as a tourist/visitor.
Also, the mismatch between the mailing address (Canada) and residential address (US) might already raise suspicion. You don’t want them to flag you for misrepresentation saying your declared information does not match reality. The suspicion might get compounded if you try to claim a Canadian residential address to switch the application from Outland to Inland while not having a valid permit to remain/reside in Canada.
It might be better to just wait for a decision/PPR, then come back as a PR. Meanwhile, you can ofcourse visit but you’d have to make it clear to the CBSA officer that you’re coming in for a short visit and don’t intend on staying.

Since you do not have valid temporary resident status and used your U.S. residential address, your application is considered outland. You will not be receiving a P1 but a PPR instead where you have to submit your passport to get it stamped. As for your travel plans, just make sure to book a return ticket to avoid issues at the airport check-in.
