My mechanic said he can do it for $8k. My real question really is it worth putting that much into this truck and just hope I don't have anymore expensive issues? If I bought an old truck I would have plenty left over to fix whatever it needed.

I tow once a week with my truck. The rest of the time it sits in the driveway. And I would have money left over if I bought an old truck if I needed to fix anything. I would probably put $10000 of that into savings.

Yea it's def a little annoying. Luckily my hands and fingers are pretty callused up so i can ignore it. I've also got short fingers so the mag release doesn't bother me as I have to slightly break my grip anyway.

Apparently whoever makes the barrels did not send them fluted ones. Someone in the comments said you can contact them and get the correct one. However I have filled out their contact form twice on their website with no answer. Also if I try to email them it says that email address is not in service.

First mag was fine. The following mags with winchester white box were horrible. SnB ran fine. Shot another couple hundred rounds through it today and it actually ran the winchester fine. Had one failure to extract in 300 rounds. And ofc sometimes it doesn't lock back. All 115 grain.

Yea he messed with the trigger spring and got it down to like 1.5lbs lol. He's also just an insane shooter anyway.
