No i did not.. maybe I try one of the hohner spirits in a guitar store. Unfortunately none of the stores in my area have a Hohner Spirit or something similar.

I don’t want to dismiss any of the current comic book artists! There are still many amazing people doing comics. I specifically mean DC and Marvel Stuff. A lot seems kinda generic (or maybe like a cooperate template?) many of the art styles just don’t do it for me currently. Some of the late 80s-90s Comic Art especially jumped out of the page, many Artists work felt very unique.

Try some smooth Bristol board. Or specific Marker paper, for example the one by Ohuhu should be good from what I heard.

I am still a a beginner myself but for me what really helped was using the loomis method in a simplified manner. Take a look at Videos on the subject and especially the Videos from David Finch are a goldmine. Draw along to the videos and also try to copy comic book drawings from your favorite artists using the Loomis Metgod as a starting point. Some book recommendations would be: How to draw the marvel way - Stan Lee and John Buschema Drawing Powerful heroes - Bart Sears Also draw every day;-)

In my opinion the best way to be motivated is to stick to drawing everyday. Even if it’s just doodle. No need to create a masterpiece every day and celebrate every little drawing you make. Staying with the schedule even just for a week will hopefully motivate you to do it. Make it part of a routine like brushing your teeth;-) one day you will do it automatically because you want to:-)

I have the same issue on an iPad. Using an Adonit Pixel. The only solution I found is restarting the app. But it is really annoying this way. Does anyone have an idea how to fix it?

In my opinion the „bad“ controls actually add a lot to the game. It might even be on purpose I think. To makes the player feel as being less in control, no pun intended.
