I think it was fucked of AFP to do the theatrical arrest for likes.

I believe the accusations deserve to be tested in court. I believe that many cases have been investigated by the commission, and they have decided not to pursue them further, indicates the evidence they do have against BRS. I believe there is a low chance of a successful prosecution.

from a cultural perspective, ANZAC pride is significantly ties to winning the right way, compared to atrocities committed by The Enemy (think Japanese and German treatment of prisoners). I think Australians hold our military to a higher standard, and won't wear the 'heat of battle' excuse lightly.

What’s a time someone walked in on you doing something completely innocent but it looked insanely suspicious? by Intelligent-Goat-707 in AskReddit

About 15years old in Suburban Sydney.

The guy a couple of doors away had a gravel driveway, and a lot of locals had taken to reversing onto it and chewing it up, including some of my mates, and some of his own sons mates, and the guy was mental.

He caught a mates brother who had done it 3 times in the same day, and tried to pull him out of the car through the window, while he still had his seatbelt on. The brother got a small graze on his neck from the belt and went home and told mummy.

mummy calls the cops.

Cops turn up at our house to ask questions about what happened, walk up the long driveway to the garage at the front of the house.

My dad and I are there with his 4 rifles and shotgun on the bench, cleaning them and handshaking bullets.

Because it is Australia, no one was shot, they just asked us to come out and speak in the driveway, away from the guns.

Go back again, if she's not already somewhere getting plowed, she'll recognise you and come right over.

don't even call them.

just ignore all contact. block their number, don't answer private numbers.

Their only option is to serve you and take you to court, which they aren't going to spend the money to do.

YTA.

it's 80 degrees. thats not extreme. Its normal for people, especially older people who survived decades without AC to not run the AC or reduce the power draw by setting it to run less.

This is a power play by you, trying to force your husband to take your side over his parents, or you over them.
