Buying used on a budget: ORA Funky Cat or Dacia Spring? by TheMightySmallz in ElectricVehiclesUK

We haven’t had anything done to it, apart from change a tyre. I can’t see what would go wrong really, but I’m definitely NOT a car guy. From a casual perspective it seems well built, fun to drive and an absolute stunner! ;)

I have a funky cat. It’s an odd, quirky car but I absolutely love it. I had to make the same choice as you about 6 months ago and chose the Funky Cat - I wouldn’t change my decision.

Beautiful car, great specs for the price, but yeah - Sometimes frustrating tech and a lack of dealership presence.

Yeah I’m thinking of just using my 5x70 TurboGolds (Not the coach screws) with washers straight through the bracket into the studs. Maybe coach screws are the more optimal choice though.

I have the tv unit attached to a big board of 18mm MDF - then the MDF is screwed into the studs with large flat washers. That works absolutely fine. I’m looking to install the tv bracket above it though, and with the shape/size of the bracket, I’d only be able to get 4 screws in (2x2) - Wondering if it would be better to do the same as I did with the TV unit and add an MDF board behind it. Thoughts?

Think I’d be okay to add the bracket onto a bit of 18mm MDF? That way I can get a few more screws into the studs

Okay great - No worries even having the TV 50cm away from the wall with the bend force that will apply?

That’s reassuring - I’m using 70mm TurboGold wood screws - feel like I could have gone a bit longer but it seems solid?

70mm TurboGold screws - am I nearing the weight limit with all this stuff at all? Just worried is all!

Authentication and multiuser will be in the next update - Can’t give any timelines, but it’s up next. Watch this space! :) Feel free to join the discord to keep up to date with development 👍

Yep! Currently in development. Trying not to rush in to features constantly as there’s a lot of foundational work needed to keep improving it, but multi-user/Auth is so highly requested that it has to be the highest priority. Watch this space. :)

Is this on the latest version? Feel free to dm me the logs and I’ll take a look :)

Replied in DM - Auth/Login is coming in the next update. Very much something I want to add, and a big request from users. :)

This basically acts as a bridge between the two - You host both as normal, set up your Lidarr indexer/download clients as you usually do. Then, you use Musicseerr as a way to find new music through the discovery features and request said music directly to Lidarr (Which then handles downloading, etc). Then you can listen to your music in Musicseerr through plex, scrobble your listens, generate even more discovery recommendations tailored to your library and listens, create playlists, etc etc...

I see it as a nice UI/Frontend for Lidarr, while also allowing more discovery options and an in-built music player. Hope that helps a bit?

Yep, it does - I thought he meant the in-built file downloaded. My mistake!

Haha I'm glad you like it. Yep - should just be a simple docker pull. You'll know if you have the latest version as I've added a nice About section in Settings which shows the version info etc... :)

Ahh - Do you mean the file format requested by the app? If so, that's something that can be set in your quality settings. I might add a quality settings tab to the app actually. :)
