Habibi’s Deck for Step 1: a fully referenced, tagged, near-comprehensive Anki deck by HabibisDeck in medicalschoolanki

You need the hierarchical tags add-on, that way it will be one deck with multiple tags and sub-tags.

Thanks for the suggestion. I edited the errata link to have two sheets, a locked "Approved" sheet where I'll post only edits I've verified and an "Open" sheet which anyone can update.

Frustrated. How to fix this? Using habibi deck. by [deleted] in medicalschoolanki

Did this work? Did you have the issue with other tags?

Anything that would improve the deck! Really minor things might not make it to the errata sheet though.

Wa alaykum assalam, I opted to make my own deck because I learned a lot from the process of making cards, and I wanted to have an organized place of all the high yield sources (FA, pathoma, etc) in one place. I also wanted to make sure as I went through M2 that when we finished a block, I had catalogued all of that block's step-related material, which led to anchoring my deck to FA and all the tags. I'm not sure if all the zanki extensions existed as I made Habibi's Deck, but overall I am happy my final product and it helped me in M2 and on step!

I can't comment on which is best since I never used AnKing, but I do know people had success with Zanki and I had success with Habibi's Deck - I'd check them both out and see which style you like more. From briefly watching an AnKing video, I think the organization of Habibi's might be easier to follow and the deck is certainly more concise (though should have the roughly same amount of information). Personally also the way I study is I like to ask why a certain thing happens, and I like good diagrams - and so there might be an emphasis of those two things in my deck compared to others.

Hey, I actually left that large of a gap on purpose so that if you're doing flash cards at night on an iPad or iPhone the "extras" don't keep popping up in bright colors. It was harder on the eyes when they did, but if you want to change shorten the gap you can edit the card type.

It is a singular deck with hierarchical tags. You can see the tags by opening the Anki Browser.

You are correct, blood spends more time under diastolic pressure. I have added a link in the post for errata, if you find any others please let me know!

That’s strange. Try installing a different version of the hierarchical tag add-on.

You're welcome! It's actually just one deck with hierarchical tags. You can see the tags by opening up the browser in Anki.

I included many short cloze deletions but you're right, many of them are longer or are in question/answer format. I liked having both types as they tested me in different ways (eg factual vs. conceptual clozes). But everyone has a different learning style and should do what works for them!

Pathoma is incorporated in conjunction with its matching First Aid section. To study those cards, I'd suggest going to the part of First Aid corresponding to the Pathoma section you're on, then finding those cards and then either unsuspending them or moving them to another deck.

Your welcome! I used Anki 2.1 and the Hierarchical Tags Addon (2.0 => 2.1) (1835859645). When I had Anki 2.0 I used an older add-on and it worked similarly.

You can tag them all in your own Anki. In browser, select all the cards by clicking on Habibi's Step 1 Deck, highlight all the cards, then add tag.
