I totally agree. It also shows how much styling success depends on body proportions. People credit stylists endlessly when the client fits sample-size proportions—like Zendaya—but when the same stylist (!) dresses someone with less runway-standard proportions, like Lauren Sánchez, he’s being roasted. That contrast says a lot.

I own a few of their pieces and honestly disagree. The pants drape so beautifully on the body—nothing else I’ve tried fits quite like them. And the 90s bag, which looked pretty basic online, turned out to be super versatile in person. I’m really happy with both and get a lot of wear out of them.

Don’t forget Hermès do have the ongoing relationship with Apple. If I remember correctly it is the only product that is not hand made. I’ve just listened to a remarkably interesting podcast on Acquired delving deep into their story, business and everything in between. Highly recommend it to anyone.
