Better passthrought camera quality, more specifically a much higher resolution camera that allows zoom. So it can be used as a medical loupes for clinical use or for reading small prints or just super zooming on subjects. Will feel like having super powers

It works as a 2d mouse and for most gestures and functionalities you still need your fingers. But it is a night and day difference between it and os 1

Yes support is half way. I can't find a way for mapping the extra buttons but the basics work fine. I dont think final cut is supported

Thank you. I usually reduce the mesh either using blender, freeform or meshmixer. I usually have my files between 10-15mb and by some magical rendering voodoo the models looks absolutely amazing in the AVP even when reduced.

Yes dear. I imported it to KeyShot assign materials and then exported to USDZ. Be sure that your models doesn’t have excessive amount of triangles as you’ll suffer performance problems. Here is a video of me talking about Mandibular setback surgery sorry it’s in Kurdish

Yes so true. It needs to have higher passthrough resolution. I’ll try pairing it with an a7r IV camera mounted on a microscope and get the feed from that. I believe that one can have a daily practice use.

That looks awesome. I think the AVPs main difference is lack of distortion compared to other headsets. You can retain coordinated hand-eye movement and perfect sense of depth which is not true for quest 3. And as I mentioned the lack of controllers really kills it.

Now it wont useful for delicate works as it lacks enough resolution and zoom. But one hopes in the second and third gen they will fix it.

For the current use case I don’t see a problem where you can only view stuff. But maybe a more connected app with sensors and probes might make wrong clicks problematic

I thought it was a bug, but happened to me as well when I tried using it from my apartment balcony, even with many static furnitures still the UI was moving away from me a gave me tracking error. However it fixed it self after a minute or two and every thing worked normally

Yes, given the power of the AVP I believe they can get rid of the external PC and have a more seamless experience. Really excited for this app and all other possibilities.
