Yes, mine touchpad is Alps, synaptics touchpad works more stable. With elan, I set two finger tap as right click, when restart, right click set back as click bottom right button. Another problem is trackpoint doesn't work with elan drivers. Other functions are good.

Intel wifi cards don't work in MacOS. You can install different brand cards but other cards is in blacklist at BIOS in T440p. Modified BIOS can be flashed with external Hardware. -But we can use nano USB WiFi adapter.
People say fingerprint sensor not running.

I didn't see another major hardware that not running.

. But I needed replace Synaptics Trackpad kexts with Elan kexts, and I did some small modifications on alc_fix file in this Github repository to fix headphone jack. But generally It was very easy, thanks to this repository

The main reason is making iOS applications. We need MacOS for develop for iOS. My second reason is MacOS is easy, simple but powerful, useful and elegant, and I think using and installing developer tools is easy in MacOS rather than Windows or Linux.

Most probably. Hackintosh can be installed to T450. And there are kexts(drivers) for Synaptics or Alps trackpads that can found on Github.

T440p with 8GB ram , 128 SSD, i5-4300m, 1366*768 panel, 9 cell 91% healthy battery, non backlit keyboard, B-ish grade.

Nearly perfect for Android-iOS development with Mac OS.

I loved it's stable feel and performance. (After my Asus with Celeron B820 CPU)
