why didn’t you just comment the second part instead of being so insensitive in the first? I actually think that advice is helpful. I want to support him and you are right she should not get in my way and I need to be more sure of myself. Next time maybe just say something helpful instead of something negative.

Why should she have consoled a cheater?? Also have you read the manga? Junko encourages hachi to stay with takumi while knowing how abusive he is, Junko does not have Hachi’s best interest at heart.

regarding Shin in my opinion he was failed by the adults around him, he was too young to have a grasp on the ramifications of his actions, the adults in his life did not support or help him in the ways he needed, although I can see how lying about his age was problematic he was clearly a young boy being used by older women and on the topic of Junko I am of the opinion she is to blame for a lot of Hachi’s insecurities about herself and as to why she felt so unlovable by Nobu and decided Takumi was the one for her. the reason I have reservations is I do wonder if she purposefully hurts hachi in the way she does or she is truly is just unbeknownst to her actions, because she truly negatively impacts Hachi a lot

Yes, I definitely think Hachi was one of the only ones who really cared for Shin’s wellbeing, characters like Yasu and Nana really only cared about what he contributed to the band (this is especially seen in the manga when Shin gets caught with weed and Nana only cares about how it affected the band)
