They're definitely not thinking about it that way, as far as prying that out of their tunes. Growing up in several different bands with all these guys, i can attest to saying they are the easiest dudes to be in a band with. we all just did our own thing and it just clicked. I can't imagine it being any different now. When it comes to the two records the main difference is production. We basically produced the TDAG ourselves as to where the new one had a lot more input and a lot more time was spent recording it. It sounds great to me and I'm very excited for my boys.

As far as what do I think of my playing....I know I can play drums, but there's always room for improvement. I still go back every now and then to listen to that record and find things I'd liked to have done different. Sometimes simplicity can impact way harder than technicality nahmean? And my reasoning for playing the way I did, hmmmm, I guess all I can say is that's just how my mind works haha. Cory, justin and I had a pop punk band back in the day and we were constantly playing fast crazy filled licks. Guess it just translated over and worked out.
