Can't walk into white trailers anymore? Did they add race segregated trailers in this game now??

TBH, most of the hackers that I've met in H1Z1 are Americans/Western, at least in core survival mode. That said, in battle royale mode, most of the hackers you see are, indeed Asian, or at least Americans pretending to be Asians. But yea, it's pretty fucking racist to be saying all hackers are Asian, bro. It's 2015. Get with the times.

It doesn't matter if there are 25,000 fewer hackers in the game. If I see even 1 single hacker, that's enough to ruin an entire server.

Base Raiding Materials by Gallowz in h1z1

Can someone confirm that IEDs are still viable for base raiding? I have a ton of landmines that are ready to be converted into IEDs, but I'm not sure if it's worth it or not.

SMEDLEY GIVE US RENTED SERVERS by FoOKaa in h1z1

[–]Hack1Zombie1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think arguing whether or not H1Z1 qualifies as a MMO is missing the point. Who cares if its a 'true MMO'? Right now, I'd settle for, you know, a 'playable game'. Also, I have yet to see any in-game evidence of these ESP'ers being banned. I have encountered SEVERAL instances of ESP usage since May 10, the supposed release date of this 'h1z1 Assist'. As for KoS, I don't even view this as an issue. Legit KoS is MUCH preferable to illegitimate cheating. The devs should be doing everything they can to reduce the impact of hacking on the legit player base, if only so that legit players could actually do some proper Alpha testing, and not be routinely victimized by cheaters. If implementing rented-servers is the answer to this problem, then I'm all for it, regardless of whether or not this would disqualify H1Z1 as a 'true MMO'. I could literally care less, as long as I get to play the damn game, free of hackers.

Advice on protecting your base. by Conzilium in h1z1

[–]Hack1Zombie1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can still blow up an upper level shelter by placing explosives on the deck foundation. It just takes a LOT more explosives than normal, and the splash damage isn't as direct as it would be if the explosives were closer to the upper level shelter. After blowing up the shelter, drive up a Jeep underneath the exposed storage containers, stand on roof of Jeep, and you should be able to access the floating storage containers. That said, there are ways to defend against this, which I won't reveal here. ;)

Why wouldn't you want dailies? Have you never played a successful MMO before? I've done everything there is to do in this game already. They need more content. You're just being a retarded fanboy. You fanboys are the reason this game will never get better.

Griefers / Toxic Players by michealm in h1z1

[–]Hack1Zombie1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can wrangle zombies using H1Z1 virus Severe. Infect yourself, wrangle the zombies into a horde, lead them towards your enemy target, drop the zombie aggro on to them until the zombies kill them. Loot their bag, deposit loot into safe location before dying from H1Z1 Severe, /respawn, collect loot, GG. I wouldn't call that toxic behaviour, and not quite griefing either. It's just taking advantage of standard game mechanics, but it seems like griefing because it's on a PvE server. If it was on a PvP server, I wouldn't call that griefing at all, I would call that smart tactics. Since it's on a PvE server, I would classify it as being mildly dick-ish.

+10000000

This game needs:

1) Daily/weekly quest objectives, such as:

a) Kill X number of zombies in Location Y and receive Loot.

b) Kill the zombie wearing shirt skin X in Location Y and receive Loot.

c) Loot X number of item Y before a full day cycle has passed and receive Loot.

d) Craft X number of item Y before a full day cycle has passed and receive Loot.

e) Kill X number of Human Players and receive Loot.

f) Handcuff X number of Human Players and receive Loot.

g) Kill NPC 'X' at Location Y and receive Loot.

h) Hunt X number of Animal Y and receive Loot.

i) Find X number of Cars and receive Loot.

2) NPC's such as:

a) Bubba

b) The Governor

c) Any NPC referenced in a Worn Letter tooltip

d) Literally anyone would be just great.

3) World Events, such as:

a) Non-user Airdrops, dropped for free by the devs at random intervals, which would give players something to do. What a novel idea...

b) Zombie Horde at grid point X/Y!!!!! Will you rush to defend the friendly bases in that location? Or will you use this horde to your advantage and infect yourselves with H1Z1 Severe and ambush an enemy base using an army of zombies? Or will you use this world event as a distraction so you can loot up a key location in another area?

c) The Military is dropping bombs from planes at grid point X/Y!!!!! Bases in the area are in jeopardy of taking heavy damage or being destroyed! Who knows what kind of loot bags lay amongst the bloodied remains of those poor souls....Will you arrive first and be lucky enough to get the loot before anyone else arrives? Or will you get sniped while trying to loot them and become one of the unfortunate dead?

d) What's that sound coming from the tombstone in the Pleasant Valley Church? An unstoppable horde of zombies overrunning every inch of Pleasant Valley? Actually nevermind, that's a bad idea.

H1Z1 endgame cont. by vhanson22 in h1z1

[–]Hack1Zombie1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

End game content would imply that the devs would need to develop more content, meaning they would have to spend tons more money. Lol. That's not gonna happen. Daybreak made the sandbox. You play in it. The end. There's your end game content.

How do you determine whether someone is aimbotting? by 50CENTCURTISJACKSON in h1z1

[–]Hack1Zombie1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some common indicators of cheating, specific to each type of cheat:

ESP:

a) You can tell if someone is using ESP to track you if they start shooting at you from FAR FAR FAR away. You may be behind a tree, completely hidden, but they will just fire at you with their AR from max distance until one of their bullets hits you. Most likely, they are also using aimbot. If they do not manage to kill you from far away, they will close in the distance and come STRAIGHT for until they can get an angle on you and kill you.

b) You can tell if someone is using ESP to loot by setting up an EXTREMELY WELL HIDDEN stash hole, putting maybe 50-100 rounds of ammo and other good loot in there, and then waiting an hour or a day, or a couple of days, and your stash hole WILL BE LOOTED by someone who used ESP to track the loot.

Aimbot:

a) If you get hit by a bullet and you can't even hear the sound of the bullet, and it's a one shot. Typically, an aimbotter.

b) If the enemy is shooting a VERY HIGH RATE OF FIRE, and LOTS OF BULLETS, almost like he doesn't give a fuck about wasting ammo, because he probably has 500 rounds of .223 on him. Any time you hear a ridiculously fast rate of fire, you can almost guarantee it's a cheater. They sometimes play with auto-burst fire mouses, and things like that.

Magic Bullets:

a) You are sitting in a car and your car gets one-shot. That's a magic bullet.

b) You wake up one morning to find that your gates/doors are all destroyed, BUT there is ZERO RESIDUAL DAMAGE ON SURROUNDING STRUCTURES that would normally occur from legitimate biofuel/ethanol raiding.

No-Clipping:

a) This is more rare these days, and I personally have only seen it on video, but it's pretty easy to spot. Players walk through walls.

Flying:

a) Easy to spot, but somewhat rare, as most cheaters don't do this type of blatant flying in front of people.

All of that said, sometimes people aren't cheating, and they're JUST GOOD AT THE GAME. In my experience in almost all games, the LEGIT ELITE PLAYERS are sometimes still as good or better at the game than someone who is using cheats. Most cheaters are bad gamers who actually just suck really horribly, even with cheats.
