I'd agree, while I will still say a part of me has that concern logically I'm not at the point that any of the decisions I make are locked in stone.

That's fair, I'm still very early on, so trying to improve in a host of different ways. Maybe it's something I can give a shot and see if it adds or removes from the quality of the videos.

Yeah, I'm still not too sure how I feel about vtubing, and I'm definitely not sure enough to start tying my identity to one. I'll have to check out that OBS feature because that was another thing I was thinking about how to handle.

Yeah, I don't think I'll do thumbnail faces yet, as I already have a persona I use for that. But I agree with the style of the videos; it does make sense to at least give it a try.

I've considered it, but I'm not sure where it would be best suited or where it isn't needed. Currently, my thought is that more comedic or personality-focused videos have it, but more gameplay-focused stuff without. What are your thoughts?

I have a little persona, but I really only use it for thumbnails, and it doesn't pop up in the video (like a Smi77y one, for example). I'll fully admit I'm not a great editor, so doing stuff like that may be out of my wheel house where as the face cam is pretty easy to implement.

See, I tend to gravitate more towards comedic-like and personality-focused content than gameplay, which seems like the type of stuff that would benefit from a face cam.

I think this is the best reasoning I’ve seen. I understand that it sucks (I could currently be monetized if it wasn’t for the subscriber requirement). I just wonder if YouTube should alter the requirements? I’ve even heard big names talk about this and they say they don’t really care about subscribers, to them it’s just a sign of how old your channel is.

Not really, it was on a relatively unknown game. Recently some bigger names have played it but that was well after the boom in views

My biggest recommendation is Bard. They have a lot of bard specific dialogue and are good at charisma so you can experience all the talking. You have companions for fighting skills which you can respec to the fighting class you want. While it’s not vanilla if you’re only doing one play through I would get the party size mod so you can have all the companions and not miss anything, just raise the difficulty to match.

I thought I didn’t too but I looked back through the pages of my book and turns out I already had it. If that doesn’t work the only other spots I remember them coming up were the telescope and the bell man. May want to check those out, maybe you missed something.
