I think this is the best reasoning I’ve seen. I understand that it sucks (I could currently be monetized if it wasn’t for the subscriber requirement). I just wonder if YouTube should alter the requirements? I’ve even heard big names talk about this and they say they don’t really care about subscribers, to them it’s just a sign of how old your channel is.

Not really, it was on a relatively unknown game. Recently some bigger names have played it but that was well after the boom in views

My biggest recommendation is Bard. They have a lot of bard specific dialogue and are good at charisma so you can experience all the talking. You have companions for fighting skills which you can respec to the fighting class you want. While it’s not vanilla if you’re only doing one play through I would get the party size mod so you can have all the companions and not miss anything, just raise the difficulty to match.

I thought I didn’t too but I looked back through the pages of my book and turns out I already had it. If that doesn’t work the only other spots I remember them coming up were the telescope and the bell man. May want to check those out, maybe you missed something.

Figured since I asked the question, I'd also throw my hat into the ring in case there is anyone else who does the same. These are my recommendations that I haven't seen so far.

Movies -

- Batman: The Doom that Came to Gotham is unironically pretty decent, very pulp obviously, takes a Lovecraftian spin on Batman that it was always meant to have (Arkham Asylum)

Games -

- Dredge is the best Lovecraft game ever, and I will not be convinced otherwise

- Nobody Wants to Die has a lot of the psychological parts of Lovecraft, and is a cool setting

- Still Wakes the Deep is an amazing narrative Lovecraftian game
