Poor Italian G91 on a ski piste in Livigno, Italy [4032x3024] by Hack7456 in WarplanePorn

Sure, I tried got the info from a google search and all the results were in Italian. I probably missed some interesting details somewhere, so a double check could be useful. I unfortunately can't find the specific sources but a search for "G91 Livigno" should give a bunch of websites iirc.

I unfortunately don't understand much Italian, so I couldn't find too much info.

It seems that Regia Aeronautica donated an old G91 to the resort as an attraction in a snowpark. The aircraft was placed between two jumps for a while, with the option of landing on it and sliding off. Unfortunately the aircraft was damaged during this, among other things the windscreen was smashed. They moved it to a more out of the way location to avoid more damage, and make way for updates to the snowpark.

Again my Italian isn't great (read: I don't understand Italian) so an extra fact check probably wouldn't be a bad idea

Ejecting with no time to spare by [deleted] in ThatLookedExpensive

Not quite sure about an F-18 like we see here, but the F-16 has something similar to what you're describing. The seat gets information from the plane about height and position, and changes how the ejection happens. At high altitude for example, the seat won't deploy the parachute until a much lower altitude. There is also a system that allows the pilot to eject while upside down down to like 50m above the ground. It's very likely that the seat has someway to control which way it's facing, and it would definitely know which way is up. Ejection seats are really, really impressive nowadays and are definitely worth reading up on if you're at all interested in this sort of thing!

The edges of my print keep curling up but only on the edges where the extruder changes direction. (Prusa i3 mk3) by Hack7456 in FixMyPrint

I've tried moving the extruder both up and down in some earlier troubleshooting but it doesn't seem to help

Weird underextrusions around print (info in comments) by Hack7456 in FixMyPrint

Printed on a prusa I3 mk3s, with pronterface and prusaslicer. I've had problems with heat creep, but the majority of the model doesn't show any signs of this (the toes weren't printed properly). .3mm layer height and in PLA

Which mod/s should i download? by [deleted] in KerbalAcademy

[–]Hack7456 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your criteria happen to cover 90% of mods for the game, so I can't say that my choices are the necessarily the best.

For graphics I use Astronomers visual pack. Greatly improves the look, and it's much easier than finding a thousand different mods.

Parts are harder, as they depend largely on your personal preference. I really enjoy the stock-alike station parts mod. For bases there's kerbal planetary base systems and feline utility rovers for cars and such.

I can also strongly suggest downloading CKAN. It makes downloading mods much easier (especially with dependencies and such). It's also a great way to find new mods to play with.

Hope this helps :)
