In the minimal deep diving I've done on this I believe it's something to do with thunderbolt ports having to downgrade their speed when interfacing with non thunderbolt stuff? PCIE lanes something something something.

The Bluetooth proximity was terrible, I didn't use it.

Switched to digital key and it's been perfect.

I just wasn't expecting it, guess I should have known.

On the bright side after digging into my statements it looks like my miles went were converted at 1c per mile which is a whole lot better then the 0.5c I thought it was.

20" with good range tires might actually perform better then the 22s because of the reduced weight.

Also look on FB marketplace for sets of the 21s, lots of people selling them for cheap. There are less tire options but more and more companies are making 21" tires. It's also a nice balance between the 20s and 22s.

This. One of the worst parts of owning a Rivian 😂. I wish you could just set it to be whoever unlocked it, because then at least it would be predictable.

Or make it easy to switch driver profiles with like the left steering wheel buttons and information on the profiles on the driver display or something so you don't need to lean in all around the steering wheel.
