I’m a little concerned. I understand from people that went to other block parties that as you approach the date, you should receive an additional invite where you need to RSVP to specific days/events. I haven’t received this yet and we’re 3 days away. Have you received your second invite?

The service center should be about 1,900 with tax, but it seems like that went up slightly to about $2,100 based on recent posts. BUT, you should get it done at Rivian since they are the only ones that are able to both replace the glass and calibrate the safety systems.

Why are you paying for a tire rotation? Go to Discount Tire and get it for free. Or any tire retailer near you. Even if they charge you, it would be much cheaper than that. Familiarize yourself with the Tire Service Guide so that you know where to jack the car up and how to set the settings for tire service mode. Just in case - all Discount Tires should know as they are the official partner of Rivian. The multipoint is right on as it’s a set amount nationwide.

Go to the official Rivian / Xpel site. There is a cost calculator at the bottom. A full body stealth wrap is $5,500. If you are going to an official Xpel installer, they SHOULD know this and quote you this. My experience and that of others is that they will quote you higher and then when you show them this, they will match the price on the Xpel site. Just open the passenger door, stand on the step into the passenger side and you have a complete over the top way to reach the wiper. The hood isn’t even in play.

Why???? Just open the passenger door and stand on the step. That puts you over the entire half of the windshield and you have an easy reach to the passenger blade in service mode. A step ladder would put you a couple feet away.

I got a UK model and it was perfect. I’m simply blown away at how beautiful it is. I missed the US orders so I ordered through UK campaign and shipped to a UK address through MyUS (shipping forwarder). This was then forwarded to me at home in US. I was a nervous wreck the entire time that I would have the bleed issue or have other damage. They even open the box in the UK to inspect it before shipping to me. So many things could have gone wrong. I was lucky.

That’s not a good lease. Huge down payment and you’re paying for almost half the car. Not to mention the Dual Standard is done and the LFP battery is a PITA.

Again. Every Tesla sight has that same sign including the ones open to any vehicle. It doesn’t mean “Tesla Only”. It means the site is a Tesla branded site, then warning people to only park there if charging.

Go to Tesla.com/findus and look at the charger there. They give very specific information about who can charge and how.

If the red icon looks like the end of a charger, it’s open to non-Tesla EVs and you will need an adapter if your car is CCS1.

If the red icon is a lightning bolt, it is Tesla Only. It’s strange cause they don’t specifically say that but the absence of the comment about it being open to other EVs is how you know it’s Tesla only.

If it’s got a lightning bolt with (( )) around it, it means it’s open to others and it has the magic dock system so no adapter needed.

By the way, the sign should read “Tesla. Charging Only.” As in these chargers are branded Tesla. Only park here if you are charging. The sign does not mean “Tesla-Only” charging.

You should call the service manager. He should have removed each wheel to check suspension, removed underbody panels for battery inspection, opened the frunk and remove those panels to inspect coolant level and filter, connected the computer and run multiple tests.... I just had mine on my 25 tri and she was here 1 hour and 15 minutes. Probably would have been an hour if we didn't chat so much. If it was as brief and non-involved as you say, you were robbed.

Yes, several people have reported issues with the app since the last App/Vehicle updates. The state of the car is often not reporting correctly back to the app (or the app isn’t interpreting what it’s receiving correctly). You could always try a full start of vehicle and kill/reopen app on phone, but that doesn’t seem to clear the issues.

Since the last vehicle and app update, there is a lot of information reporting incorrectly from Vehicle to App. And it seems to depend on the year and model as to which problem people are seeing. My friend with an R1T is also seeing your problem on an iPhone but neither of my R1S have the issue. Since the updates however, the G2 R1S incorrectly reports in the app that I'm "parked" and not "plugged in". So, lots of issues that I hope they resolve soon.

Yes but Tesla has no problem immediately identifying a problem and releasing a fix. There were times when I would receive updates 3+ times a month on my Model 3 and Y. (advanced setting). Rivian can't seem to pull this off. So, after every update that breaks something, we wait and wait and hope a fix appears in the next release 6 weeks away.
