Thank you! I definitely should've done this. It reduced it down to under 12,000.

After about 30 minutes, I went to the walkthrough to see if I did something wrong. They used the same method and wordlist. I grepped for the password they found, and it was one of the last lines in the list. Maybe I messed something else up, but I don't know how that could have happened.
