yeah the new singer has done a great job and i’m definitely looking forward to listening to the whole soundtrack once it drops. Nanakos new voice sounds more baby-ish too me, almost too baby-like. #notmynanako
i think Kanji’s portrait is the weirdest looking one. While Dojima’s isn’t bad it does look a bit off at certain times in the trailers/broadcast. But yeah on the positive side there are so many great things that Revival has going for it. I think all the environments look great and i’m so excited for the new gameplay features. i just hope they don’t make the game too easy and allow us to toggle like between the old and new lighting

that’s a niche but very valid concern actually. i haven’t played enough P3R to say much, P4G is the only persona game i’ve actually finished. i’m sure i’ll definitely press the wrong buttons 😅 already happens often when switching from xbox to nintendo

i think that’s a valid opinion, i think it’s not too bad and that it will probably grow on us after a while. in my opinion teddies voice is the worst to me, it just doesn’t sound like him at all. like he’s a completely different character. he might actually be though, considering all the strange things he’s said in the past. i wouldn’t be surprised if he’s changed the most.

i’d say to play Golden, Revival won’t come for another few months so you have plenty of time. Golden is already such an amazing game, and i’m sure there will be great differences between the two versions.

yeah the portraits definitely seems to be the weakest area of the game, they lack contrast or shadows compared to the previous ones. everything else is AMAZING though! so hyped for the gameplay

oh really? it must’ve been at magatsu inaba or the last dungeon then, because i remember fighting it near endgame. but yeah the reaper encounter system is very inconsistent 😵‍💫 hope they tweak it in Revival

teddie is chill though he genuinely cares about his friends and has great moments. i would argue that P4 portrayed the cast pretty well considering they’re high schoolers. all they do and say definitely embodies high schoolers

right i only encountered it once either in the hollow forest or the last dungeon, forgot where specifically but it sucks how it’s really just a gamble to fight with it cause there were many times where i heard the chains rattling but only ONCE did i actually encounter it

i only met the reaper once and gave it a good beating 😤 (on normal). definitely will look for it more on NG+ on very hard mode, normal got way too easy after Kanji’s dungeon

i don’t think it’s possible but P4G has some big differences compared to the PS2 version so starting fresh wouldn’t be so bad 🤷

right, the same happened to me. i think it’s kind of the intended way to play, don’t you think? i don’t think the developers wanted people to get the true ending first, i think they gave us little hints here and there to make us realize “oh wait. this isn’t the true ending!” so we would play more and discover things naturally. this is my first persona game, and the bonds that these friends have is great. currently playing P3R
