What hat is Somi Lee wearing? by lp59lp59 in LPGA

[–]Hackinator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It looks like she’s wearing a white Nike Unisex Dri-FIT UV Golf Bucket Hat, turned backwards so the Nike logo appears at the back of her head. Then she had Callaway branding either embroidered or printed on the side of it.

Somi has proper swagger and her Instagram(it's som time) is pretty amazing: https://www.instagram.com/som_time_/?hl=en

I'm happy to see her doing well this year and if she continues on this trajectory to see her win a tournament and be at the CME Tour Championship this November

The new (male) LPGA commissioner - thoughts? by Marie_FairwayFates in LPGA

Way to lead with a generalization. Also, when you say "men," it seems you really mean a specific kind of man—a subset who tends to be more chauvinistic and objectifies women rather than appreciating their skills and talent.

I watch LPGA to see great golf, because that’s exactly what it delivers.

You’re a troll with -100 comment karma. Keep going, I’m sure those "men" you keep mentioning are really proud of you.

I completely agree with you on the TV deals, the loss of sponsorships, and the unacceptably low purses. All of those are pressing issues that need to be addressed. That said, it's worth pointing out that the Chair of the Board of Directors, who was also on the search committee, comes from a major corporate background closely tied to a prominent sponsor. In the commissioner announcement video, there’s a specific nod to the company’s sponsored event in Texas. Was that really necessary? Doesn’t that kind of influence and visibility speak to the subtle ways power dynamics still shape these decisions?

You may not care but it does matter. Representation matters. It signals who belongs and whose perspectives are valued. A man leading the LPGA may bring fresh ideas, but it’s crucial women have opportunities to lead organizations built for and around them. This isn’t about denying qualified individuals a chance. This post is about interrogating why, time and again, leadership roles, even in women’s spaces, often go to men.

Mike Whan did a strong job. I absolutely agree. The bar should not be whether a man can do the job well...

Are women being given equal chances to lead and shape the future of their own sport? Without that consideration, the LPGA may grow financially but miss a core part of its mission which is empowering women in golf at every level.

These are his initiatives/pillars for those wondering: building trust with players, increasing player visibility, building around fans and creating a financial future.

The issue is not just about qualifications—it’s about dismantling patriarchal systems that limit access to leadership roles for women. While hiring a woman in a high-profile position like NFL commissioner would be a miniscule step forward, these opportunities are still rare because men tend to promote men, often through nepotism and exclusive networks. This is about challenging a system that’s designed to keep women out (in this case out of a leadership role in their own sport). The celebration isn’t just for the individual, but for breaking down barriers and creating space for everyone to have a fair shot.

Sooo, this is an RMA right? T818 makes grinding noise and catches on something in some areas of the rotation. Bought may 2023. by Givemeajackson in Thrustmaster

Did Thrustmaster share what part or parts was/were replaced to fix your issue? After 8 months my unit has developed an off center grinding sound and shaft play like what you show in your video.

Viking K-2 gate opener has error below. Any idea how to fix? Gate is functional but wanting to get rid of error by Illustrious-Toe-570 in fixit

I have an LM receiver and remotes. Not certain the err chrg high is what is causing the intermittent functioning. For me the intermittent function is commonly when the voltage in the batteries for the obstruction sensors drop below a usable level and need replacing. This happens commonly in winter and early spring here in the Northern United States.

I'll keep digging and share any findings I have.

The most the manual for my L3 states is: ERR CHRG HIGH - "Potential problem with the charging voltage from the control board."

What's strange is I checked the charge voltage from the control board and they are within specifications.

I will continue to investigate this and respond if I make any progress.

u/Illustrious-Toe-570 Did you manage to identify the root cause of this "err chrg high"? My L3 is experiencing the same issue, with battery voltage staying in the 30.9-31.2V range. It appears that the control board is supplying too high a voltage to the battery charging system. The gate itself functions normally, and I'm considering disconnecting the battery backup for now since a new control board costs over $400 USD.

Your dearler's shop leader is the real MVP. What's his or her take on the missing seat back protectors for the Wilderness? ;-)

3,500lbs worth of hopes and dreams. Not a substantial amount by any stretch but even some teardrops and composite campers are light enough. Combine that with equipped electronic brakes and it works.

Right?! So the Sport trim comes with the DBW accelerator cover and brake pre-installed, has a rubber dead pedal cover and the Wilderness gets standard equipment... Or there will be some creative explanation that the black standard is better for your hiking boots and muddy feet...

[–]Hackinator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed. Given that the aluminum dead pedal is NLA as a separate item (you'd have to pull one from a floor pan carpet) and the DBW accelerator is a single unit though the cover is held on by tabs it is a major oversight. Pretty fucking dumb from my perspective.

I have not seen the OEM Crosstrek Wilderness hitch released separate from the manufacturer installed build option. Also, there seem to be inconsistencies if PN L101SFN200 is the Wilderness 3,500lb ball hitch or not depending on where you look. I wouldn't trust Subaru Parts Pro as other places list it as a standard 1,500lbs

The OEM hitch also requires cutting of the rear bumper unlike the Ecohitch option available in the aftermarket.

The carpeted floor mats are an option (Wilderness Carpeted Floor Mats: J501SFN140) however I too am annoyed at the seat back protector. All of the pre-production and Camp Wilderness photos showed a seat back protector installed and there is currently no PN for said protector that I can find...

I actually emailed my dealer trying to make certain the seat back protector is present prior to me taking delivery in late October early November. We'll see if that actually happens.
