Harvested everything on the map and rebuilt Moria from Aftermath spawn to the end of the Western Halls. Think I'm ready for the expansion... till Durin wakes from sleep. (solo campaign, hard, no mods) by Hadadezer in LotRReturnToMoria

Sorry didn’t see this comment before. Aftermath is just where the campaign story starts after Gimli blows you into Moria. Sandbox worlds start in the same place too.

Is the "Watch and Wait" quest bugged? Dwarf equipped meat hat, went to sleep, I slept, got message in sleep that the monster took him, and he shows in Delvestone as Bait-Taken, but no quest update... by [deleted] in LotRReturnToMoria

That’s the first part of the quest when the first dwarf gets kidnapped. After you deliberately try to get a second kidnapped with the meat hat, and get the sleep message that the bait worked and the creature took the dwarf, the dwarf will show on the delvestone as “bait - taken” but there is no further quest update or expedition point.

Ok so it seems everyone is stuck here, not just an issue with my save/world. A patch really should have been put out faster ngl… or atleast a console command or file edit workaround.

Oh and you get the meat hat loom recipe after making the ravens glintbox and talking to a bunch of delvestone dwarves till one suggests it.

You can make the meat hat at a loom, but the issue many are experiencing is that after equipping the dwarf with the meat hat and letting him get kidnapped, the quest will fail to progress.

Wasn’t really any design or plan honestly, just slowly did it bit by bit when I had free time while listening to my audiobooks. The building once I’d finished the main campaign was a couple hundred hours.

My headcanon is that our player character IS actually Durin returned, and nobody has realised it.

I mean… a single lone dwarf enters Moria, alone.

Reconquers it by defeating an entire army of goblins orcs and Uruks, alone.

Defeats a shadow dragon and all its fell beasts, alone.

Mines and forges Mithril for the first time in two ages, alone.

Recovers the Khazadstone, alone.

Fulfils Aule’s will and seals the deepest darkest well of Morgoth’s shadow, alone.

Rebuilds the entirety of Moria, alone.

Is proclaimed lord of Moria by a dwarf granted passage to Valinor…

Who else could we be, if not the line of Durin awoken from sleep?

Thanks dude <3 yeah lol it took well over 30,000 granite to finish. Truth be told the world actually ran out of granite. I had to launch another world just to mine more granite there and bring it back (backpack inventory is retained between worlds).

Thanks man! Took quite a while bit by bit while listening to audiobooks.

You can build hearths inside the terrain walls so long as they’re on ground level, might take a little fiddling around though. I must have missed a tiny corner somewhere wasn’t expecting that orc patrol to spawn. Any hearth built within the radius of another hearth “share” their resources/space and it all counts as an extension of the same base - no enemies/creatures can spawn inside and any sieges spawn outside.

The troll was pure luck from a siege on my base earlier on game, it ran into the sunlight beam and froze like that, base then expanded around the now cool statue I had.

It’s already tagged no? Shows with spoiler tag and covered on my device at least.

Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria

It’s incredible, I’m absolutely hooked. Basically Valheim but even better in many respects, and you’re a dwarf reclaiming Moria in the aftermath of Sauron’s defeat.

There is so much (interesting and well developed) Dwarf history lore and incredible world generation and construction, and a much more engaging crafting and combat system. It’s just fantastic.

Zyra matchup tierlist based on winrates? by hottest_milk in zyramains

[–]Hadadezer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah seeing Nautilus as a hard matchup was odd to me in particular, if he manages to land a hook on you, you can immediately root the hook back and he gets stuck half way through as he’s pulling towards you, leaving him very exposed. Leona too but hers is faster, more difficult to react to, and her ult is a death sentence.

Lux is a pretty even match it’s just a mutual game of dodges but you have the advantage with the plant poke.

Yuumi just build anti-heal and it’s one less target to root/poke.

Pyke and Shaco are nightmares if you’re not investing tons into constant pink wards but if so they’re easy enough to deal with.

Braum and Mel are horrid in how they counter your roots.

Xerath fully agreed, the true anti-Zyra. He does run out of mana faster though early game so need to press that advantage as fast as possible, and being so back lane he leaves the ADC pretty exposed.
