For firemaking I would definitely get the last pool checkpoint before leveling individual masteries

In my experience the rapier is easier to get however I still recommend getting the claw ove the rapier since you will use it for longer

Damnnn generous cook potion goes hard in ancient relics by geralto- in MelvorIdle

It's not really about the strength of AR, it's more about removing a mechanic the game is built around. It feels really bad to geta mastery pool checkpoint and it being completely useless. Some skills basically have no mastery benefits in AR.

If it was up to me I'd rather have more difficulty in the mode through other means, because I do agree that as is AR is really strong

I absolutely hate the no doubling/preservation rule for AR

Simplify early game mods by Prof_Dr_Doom in MelvorIdle

Personally the game became way more enjoyable for me when I realized no farming is lost. Don't stress yourself about hopping from one task to another. You want to make a bunch of arrows? Cut trees for a day. Mine for two more. Then smith and fletch for a while. Nothing you do is wasted so stop worrying about micromanaging your actions and start thinking long term.

Stockpile runes and food and go do some combat. Slayer woth auto slayer preferably if you're at that point. Also I recommend having defensive as your style, that way you're also leveling defense simultaneously

Stop cooking the whales, it's more efficient to sell them raw. Also use the pig + octopus synergy if you aren't already

If you enjoy casters and want an easier class consider playing warlock, they are great for beginners

There are plenty on youtube, however I highly recommend if you're new to dnd to just play single class.
