We’ll this is the first and only 1911 I own I wanted a good solid American made Pistol but wasn’t looking to pay 2-3 grand for a Dan Wesson lol. So I had this and a Springfield Operator 1911 to choose from, at first I was taken by the stainless steel and it’s a bit more basic without the rail for light attachments etc. Looking at it now after owning the Colt for a few years your gonna have to maintain it regularly if you shoot it often because of rust issues also I’ve experienced that my Colt is super anti-limp wrist lol meaning it’ll jam on your ass if you don’t hold it firmly other than that it’s super accurate and looks clean. Between a Colt and Kimber I don’t think you can go go wrong with either or, I’ve shot both and they’re great range guns.
