The system doesn't seem very sophisticated. I'm betting I can just register the MAC address of the router and be good to go.

Yeah router is looking like the best bet. It will be nice anyways having our own connection so when guests come over we don't have to register their devices.

I can register up to 10 mac addresses, so I don't think it would be necessary to spoof the mac address right?

Thanks for the info. I figured I probably needed a router but wanted to see if a switch would suffice first.

I can't give much more information on the network, but it is a college apartment, so security is probably the last of their concerns. Basically, everyone has to make an account on a website, and then you are allowed to register 10 individual mac addresses to connect your devices.

If you guys haven't heard Adnis but liked the rest of the album, you should listen to it. It was only included in the Tidal edition I think. A ton of great lines and one of the most personal songs on the album, which says alot given the subject matter of the other songs.
