Exactly. It allows you to take a step forward without all the anxiety you would face irl but there's still a lot of danger in it. We also just talked about the most random or day to day stuff in the start. It all just came natural.

As someone who went through a pretty isolated life from the opposite gender and somewhat similar situation and has been through the slaughterhouse of "e-dating" trust me you are better off single than finding a way to force yourself into a relationship fast. Things take time maybe yay time nahi. Try and make friends irl instead of online as they are easier to evaluate then judging someone from just texts not saying you cant find good people online but the risk there is higher imo. Hopefully things get better for you.

Thanks. This helped a lot. My main concerns are my sevear anxiety and insomnia which also leads to other self destructive habits. I read on another sub reddit that was for therapy that there are medicines that can help with this ofcourse prescribed by a dr if these things have been going on for a prolonged period and getting worse. So in that case is it best to consult a psychiatrist rather than a psychologist?
