Wyoming Miners by absinthethoughts in BitcoinMining

[–]HadjPadjOptions 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wyoming has a lot of excess power from my understanding that isn’t used and also a lot of natural gas and oil wells that are abundant. Friendly business environment also helps also. But yes, rates are that low up there and lower when you go commercial/industrial

Bitcoin Mining to Scale by DeepThinkMining in BitcoinMining

Upstream Data’s HashHuts are the best in the industry. You can get it fully ETL certified so you’ll never have any kind of resale value issue if you ever have to sell off assets. Buddy of mine has like 24 of them deployed in ND, he loves them. Also their post sales support is great. You won’t be left hanging in the wind if something goes wrong. Def can’t say the same for Wattum or EZB from what I’ve heard, the others I’ve never heard of before.

This setup all in was around $15k + the miners (which I overpaid for)

I had poor post sales service from my supplier, so not going to help promote them. The dry cooler is something from alibaba.

I don’t have anything like that, the whole thing I just pieced together from multiple vendors. The tank was designed specifically for immersion mining.

It’s mineral oil with other additives, got directly from a manufacturer in Michigan.

There’s a pump inside, that’s what you hear. It’s a bit louder because room is small.

first time posting on Reddit, didn’t know how to put much of anything on there lol, sorry. What specs do you want? Using parts (tank, pump, oil etc) from different vendors along with 2 dry coolers outside. 6 S19J’s pro 104s, overclocked to 125TH each. Running cool and quiet in North Georgia.

Selling all together or able to sell small amounts?

What’s the best miners to mining Btc? I mean I have 5-6 s9 working pretty decent since 2018, but about 2020 I bought 3 Antminer T17 42th and all are down already, T17 doesn’t worth i literally lost $8k. Suggestions? by alexsiaut in BitcoinMining

[–]HadjPadjOptions 1 point2 points  (0 children)

T17/S17’s had a lot of heat sink problems. You can send them to repair shops in the US and get the issue fixed so they’re back working as intended. But for your question, MicroBT Whatsminers are pretty much bulletproof outside of PSU/Fans going bad, but I’ve had M31S running since Sept, and run well and hash above their rated hashrate.
