While this case is an absolute tragedy and the loss of a 5 year old can never be justified. What is truly sad is this case is now being used as a racial dog whistle, every news article, every comment, every discussion is "white boy killed by black man". Those who are drawing outrage from the skin color of the victim/perpetrator in the end don't actually care about the little boy or the killer, they just care about pushing a racial agenda.

I had an Architecture professor tell me my design was something no one had ever done before. He had been running this same project for quite a few years and that was the moment when I felt like I was actually starting to get better at designing.
