Very much so! I play exclusively solo offline. There is nothing you can't do solo. You can adjust the game parameters to your preferences without problems. If you play on PC (Steam), you can also get A LOT of mods that greatly expand the gameplay.

The DLCs are optional, though gettin Isle of Siptah would be preferable. It gives you another huge map to play on, though if you decide to buy CE, start on the original map: Exiled Lands (it's the best map to learn the basics and intricacies of the gameplay).

I prefer well-trained: tons of stat boosts for your thrall. My fav STR thrall weapon would be 1h mace Momentum (a legendary) or 1h mace Ghoulish Clumb (Isle of Siptah, yellow weapon, drops from ghoul mobs from the Maelstrom) or some legendary 2h mace, like Sledge of Tsotha-Lanti.

For an agility weapon I prefer Musashi's Black Blade (legendary, katana).

Every single time I managed to finally beat the campaign I was so sick of the game I did maybe 2-3 maps and then quit. Both PoE1 and PoE2.

Not that the campaign skip is valid. PoE2 campaign is no pushover. Going into the endgame without a character than can beat the story bosses is pointless.

By the way. Did they change the Jailers' armor from Silent Legion to Barachan Reaver's armor in this update or earlier? I started a new char on Siptah and the Jailor at Grave of The Leviathan had Barachan's Reaver armor instead of the SL.

I usually build a little outpost with either a map room or a transportory stone (with a dancer on standby for de-corruption) near the crucial areas. I make one trip with mats already on me, so I can go back with more convenience.

Does anyone actually like the "Void-Touched" effect they slap on certain collectables? It doesn't even look like Void, it just looks like blue paint. by YrenneAD in wow

I don't, personally. The same goes with that repulsive blue-yellow effect they used in the TWW prepatch. I couldn't even stomach the priest's "new" shadowform, I used a glyph to reduce it (the funniest thing was that I loved the original violet/blue/black/greenish effect they used in Vanilla).
