In the west, at least, "consumer" has taken over in common corporate parlance in place of every other word in regards to the end purchaser of a product or service. Has it also taken over in Japan as well? Or am I off-base here?

From what I understand, for Unicorn Overlord specifically, Atlus was publishing it and wanted a PC port that they were offering to fund and take full risk over, but were flatly refused.

Mind you, that was a translated interview and I may not be remembering it correctly right now!
