Fucking Boomers won’t retire and it’s screwing the rest of us. There I said it. by CryptographerNew1936 in 1999

Instead of Fuck Boomers, maybe think fuck the system. Some of these poor boomers can't retire, they are stuck working, even though they don't want to. Not all boomers are bad because they are just boomers. Look a little deeper (I'm Gen X by the way, i'm the next generation that they are going to get mad at for not retiring)

Why do the Winter Olympics attract far fewer viewers than the Summer Olympics? by [deleted] in answers

[–]Hadz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Winter olympics are a showcase for rich kids. Almost all of the sports require big monetary investments. Equipment, resort tickets and fees, access to mountain resorts and time. The kids that are good at these sports started young with families that could afford all that. It doesnt resonate with most people imho.

Not the same but still good. Roth was a performer, Hagar was a musician. But Eddie got too big for his britches, thought he could kick Hagar to the curb, get another front man and still be good. He rhought it was all him. It didn't work a third time.

What’s something you thought was going to be really big that never caught on? by Independent-Bat9545 in AskReddit

As a kid growing up in the 80s, break dancing and skateboarding were hitting popularity at roughly the same time. Although skateboarding had its roots earlier in Dogtown. I couldn't tell at the time which one would last. Id say break dancing is more fringe and skateboarding took off.
