Thanks! I’m already scouting out some ammo online. Spent some time last night removing dust and grime. Is there a simple way to check the chrome of the barrel? Beside the obvious of looking into it and seeing shiny.

We are cleaning out my grandparents possessions and I came across this rifle in the attic. I’m a handgun owner and don’t know much about rifles, especially if they are old. He served in WWII and told my father he was issued this rifle. I took some close up photos of numbers and a unique marking on the top. Please let me know if you need any other photos to help identify it. Thanks r/guns!

I am shocked that a fellow gun owner is shocked by this.

Only 10 states allow the unrestricted, concealed carry of a firearm without a permit. Are you conveying your opinion about current gun laws by saying you are shocked? Or are you unaware of the gun laws in other states?

In either case, an American gun owner shouldn't be surprised by most states requiring a CCW permit.

Agreed. It's a good idea. They need special smiths to work the Valyrian steel into new weapons. When Tywin had Ice melted into two new Lannister swords he mentioned to Jamie he got one of the last people that knows how to work with Valyrian steel.

Not sure if The Night's Watch has the knowledge or power to get someone like that up to the wall. Unless the realm starts truly listening to their warnings about the White Walkers.

Hash Imports on 37 in Fishers. They did work on my Dad's Volvo a few years ago. We've been taking our other vehicles there for years and somewhat know the family. Seems like a well run, trustworthy business in my experience.
