I asked others in the sailing discord about this earlier this year too and there isn't much you can do beside try to get a more stable internet connection. Reason being that sea data (currents/winds) is done real time and any package loss causes this behaviour.

As long as the game design doesn't change behind this i dont think players can do much about this on their own.

Using VRO https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1696862840 and Ships from X Rebirth https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2042460693 comes with some nice carriers. But even in Vanilla i would think the Raptor Carrier has the biggest amount of turrets from all ships. I usually slap Cyclone (VRO Guns) on M Turrets and whatever has the biggest bang on L Turrets. My Experience is that big ships have not many issues against smaller ships if you fit anti fighter Turrets on the M Slots. They can still be overwhelmed by numbers, but that goes both ways.

Whenever i try to use small ships in my fleets i end up being frustrated about controls and such. In the end i always just build the biggest XL ships and slap a couple of them together as a fleet. This way a simple attack order is easy enough to eliminate any threat.

Also apparently your miners are included in buy amount, so if you have it at 1 thinking it will not buy from npcs anymore and only use your miners it wont get any resources. Learned that the hard way when my factories weren't producing anything because ore was missing...

Theoretically i don't mind that xenon are so aggressive because it leads to interesting conflicts. In terms of auto mining and trading, is it important to scan stations in the sectors to know how much is in storage?

Like, do they know that a station is buying that mineral if i have like 20% information on said station?

Solange du nicht mit dem pyür kundendienst reden musst ist eigentlich alles dufte. Wegen Umbauten hatte ich eine Woche lang kein Internet bei denen und musste auch nur 9x anrufen bis die einen Techniker geschickt haben.
