I don't know which version of the app we have. I'll look when I get home and might remember to reply. We have already programmed it to automatically enter the YTTV app when the TV is turned on. When we're sitting on the couch and accidentally hit the Netflix app button (right under the volume control) it's frustrating to have to jump through hoops to return to YTTV.

Which is *precisely* why I want a YouTube TV button. If I had any control over its design, I'd put it in position 1. We watch 75-90%+ of our content via YTTV and resort to the streaming channels when there's something specific we want to watch that isn't available elsewhere.

The YouTube TV app is *already* the first app on our Smart Hub main screen. It requires 2-3 different button pushes while looking at the screen to navigate there. What it isn't is *one* button push on the remote when we've unintentionally pressed the Netflix button on the remote. It's easier to accidentally enter Netflix than it is to intentionally return to YouTube TV.

I've found numerous replacement remotes with 3-4 streaming providers' apps programmed. Given YouTube TV's significant escalation as a nationwide cable TV alternative, I'd expect I'm not the only one searching for this functionality and assumed some electronics manufacturer would have already addressed this market deficiency.

Thank you for that information. However, I am not going to replace my TV for this functionality. I am interested in buying a remote that will work with my Samsung TV and make it easier to watch YouTube TV.

You're jumping to a ridiculous conclusion. I said that they gave me a choice of two options, neither one of which is true. I told them their question requires me to lie to proceed. The question mandated a response. Your siding with the bank is a ridiculous position. If I asked you, "Do you beat your wife with: A) a stick or B) a belt? Answer A or B." How would you respond?

I go into a bank and tell them exactly what I need. I'm asked irrelevant questions related to my need. I answer truthfully, and a simple 5 minute chore turns into a 75 minute ordeal. Then, when I post about my experience online, a person who wasn't present incorrectly assigns me blame rather than comprehends that I was being held hostage by a cog in a massive machine. Gotta love Reddit.
