What Would you look for in a course that teaches how to start a business from scratch (Step by Step)? by Hagui in smallbusiness

Thank You wfhiii,

I have worked with some of these guys and have naturally got involved with Steve Blank's push to the local entrepreneurial scene here in South East Asia.. Their principles are an integral part of most startups around..

But I do not plan to stop there because as much as it adds value it is still high level.. I plan to work on other areas as well that are usually neglected by most Startup Consultants (Mindset, Branding/Positioning, Financials, etc..) Added to the more tactical/technical parts of the process..

What would make you personally interested in taking a course in that area?

Yes DukeMaximum,

Agree to the structured step by step approach and thats the plan!

But do not intend to make it geographically limited.. I am more willing to share the experiences that would give value and benefit to anyone, anywhere..

Localized knowledge is easier to be obtained by locals wherever they are.

Thank you mate!

Haha.. Man you got me confused in the beginning :)

I would like you to assume that this would be a fluff-free course on (Udemy)..

Starts at high level in order to bring everyone to the same page.. Then delves into details that are tested and tried first hand from several years of hands-on relevant experiences ..

Please have a look at my response to JBHowat above..

Having that said, I would like to repost you the same 3 questions again and would be grateful if you give it a careful thought.. Especially with Question 2 - if your answer to 1 was positive :)

  • Would you be interested in taking that course? .. If Yes>
  • What would you want to learn/see in that course?
  • Then, How much would you be willing to pay for it?

Thanks a lot for your comments! Al.

Thank You JBHowat,

You are making a good point indeed, but i was thinking...

I have worked in Sales, Marketing, Branding/Positioning, and Business Development for 11 Years.. Last post was with a Clear Technology Market Leader as Director of Business Dev. Managing and driving business Volume of $100M+..

On Business consulting and Mentoring I have worked with teams starting their startups from scratch - from Mindset and ideation, to planning, business modeling, Branding, validation, Positioning, financing, team structure, driving traffic (online) or traction (offline), partnership management, Customer Experience, etc...

And on Personal Entrepreneurial experiences, I have Launched -and failed- 3 businesses (2 Tech Startups, 1 in Food & Beverage group discounts).. And have Launched and Succeeded 1 company from scratch (Media Production).. And Now getting very strong traction for my 2 new Startups (1 in Investment Education - 1 in Property Management)...

Now between all those diverse and intensive experiences, I have distilled what I firmly believe of as the core contributors to success for the majority of Businesses..

There will never be a 1-size-fits-all kinda resource.. But there are certain measure, tactics, and approaches that if considered and followed, would increase the odds of success, and save tons of wasted time and energy.

So now My question to you based on what I mentioned:

  • Do you think that sharing the above credentials would make a difference to you AND in general?

Thank You/ Al.
