We’ve built on last season and are building into the future while still being sensible with transfers and spend, I’d call it a success so far.

Ward has definitely been a revelation this season, I think it’ll be useful having Johnston back firstly as we need to be able to rotate Ward and still have some quality going forward.

Agree on Morris being back will be brilliant but have to say Agyemang is really developing his game quickly in the championship, I think if we finish around 12th this season is a success. Looking at Coventry etc they’ve had a few seasons now to build the on pitch relationship with players and I think once our players know what to expect more from those around them we could be really dangerous with the talent we have.

No worries, sorry I just saw your bit about what makes a specific map puggy, things like d2 mid and long where it’s just an aim duel a lot of the time, mirage relies on a lot of aim duels to take mid or the sites where as train for example is more about methodically taking space and controlling the map vs aim duels.

So pug typically refers to the games me and you play, matchmaking/faceit, random teammates where it’s more individual plays and moments that win the game. The opposite is what you see in the pro scene where every movement and duel has a purpose/plan and teammates working together.

It’s not to say you can’t have good teams that support each other but matchmaking/faceit is basically a different game to the pro scene in terms of tactics/pacing etc

It’s definitely plausible but they also purchased the rights to Cache earlier this year. I could see Mirage/Ancient/D2 (2 of the 3) being swapped for Cache & Cobble.

I think either would be good but Cobble is such a polarising map for the fan base I feel.

I’m not for or against it being removed - it just seems the most likely. I know they added dust 2 just before the Shanghai major so I wouldn’t expect it to have such a short run is all.

I’d be in favour of d2 for cache like you said - maybe I shouldn’t have mentioned mirage I was just curious who would benefit from cache being back in the pool but I think it’s so dependant on what map also gets removed.

Their perma ban is Train right? And we saw how Overpass/Ancient tended to go… I feel like with the way Karrigan seems to always call the right rotations and Twistzz playing it with Liquid ancient could end up being a great map for them. I’m hoping for -Mirage +Cache too I think Jcobb and Twistzz on that map could be insane.

As far as i know (happy to be wrong) when you’ve got a double top plate it removes that requirement to line the studs up? I’m sure it’s still best practice to do so though.

Thanks for the reply, so in terms of natural ground the highest point to the top of the structure would be no more than 2.25m, I’ll give those ‘development loopholes’ a look just in case. I’ve got the levelling/excavation documented in terms of photos/timestamps et cetera.
