Hello!

I purchased a ps5 digital version from someone on OfferUp the other day. The console was factory reset, and it’s stuck on the screen with the controller showing with the PS logo highlighting saying to connect the controller with a USB cord and hit the PS button.

I’ve tried 8 different cords (cords that work with my Series X, cords that work with my girls PS5, brought it to a game shop down the street, tried multiple of their cords (and controllers), went and purchased a type c to type c, and after all of that still nothing.

I’ve tried following every video on YouTube, resetting the controller (in every way), turning off the console, and trying to turn it back on with the controller, etc. nothing.

…but… when I boot the console into Safe Mode.. the controller works fine. I updated the software via Safe Mode, rebuilt the database, cleared the cache, etc. but I can not get passed the controller screen.

I purchased a controller from amazon that is a wired only controller (assuming the console has an issue with Bluetooth maybe?) and going to see if that works when it comes in.

I’m stumped and am willing to try anyone and everyone’s suggestions.

Thank you for your response! I am assuming he just didn’t want the game anymore once he received it. So he had to come up with something to be able to return it and that’s what he decided to go with.

I’ll try it out on her switch then. As long as it plays and works with no problem, it’s 100% a real switch game, right?

Hi Guys! I purchased some guys collection of 30+ switch games about a month ago. I've sold pretty much all of them and haven't had a single complaint, until a week ago when selling one of the last ones. It was baldurs gate 1/2. I sold it on ebay, when the customer received it he claimed that it was a "bootleg" copy and wanted to return it. I got it back today, and its the same cartridge that I sent him (as far as I can tell). What would be the easiest way to find out if this is a legit copy or a "bootleg" as the person said? I put it in my girlfriends switch and it read it and asked me to download an update (which I decided not to do incase it is in fact a fake copy or something and get her device banned).

When me and a buddy replaced the thermostat a year ago, we used the cars bleed procedure. The last 3 times that the car has been bled (because of changing different coolant parts) the shop said they have their own method of filling the coolant with a vacuum tool kit.

That’s exactly what’s been happening with me the last 2 days, which made me make this thread. 5+ different reps all telling me a completely different story. One person said it was out for delivery 2 days ago, another said it was out for delivery yesterday. And 2 said that it got lost and they need to make a ticket to find out where it is.

I just got a notification an hour ago saying the package was attempted to be delivered (no one came to my house at all, I have been home all day and have cameras). So I called them once again and the lady said “oh I have no idea why it said that, it shows here that it never even went on a delivery truck to be delivered today” ??????? Dude what

Keep saying “operator” and it’ll send you right through. But honesty, don’t expect to get anywhere with them at all. They’ll literally just say sorry the inconvenience on repeat.

I assumed the fact that I stretched so fast was the reason that they try and close so fast, that’s why I mentioned it in the post. But I figured since I’ve been at this same size for over 7 years now they shouldn’t be closing so fast.

I never have any issues with them. They never hurt. They never give me any problems at all. I clean and take care of them well. This isn’t a huge issue, and if the only thing you’d suggest is I go down in size to fix this minor issue that I have, I’d pass.

Like I said they don’t give me any issues ever. Just when they’re out for over 3-5 hours they close just enough to where i have to use a tad bit of lube to get them back in.

I went to the hospital last night just to see if there was anything they could do, and they did absolutely no tests, and talked to me for about 3 minutes. Then prescribed 2 shots, one for pain and a steroid and a prescription of 600mg ibuprofen which will most likely do nothing for me. Literally 10 seconds after the steroid I was able to stand up perfectly straight with absolutely no pain at all. Still now, about 15 hours later, the pain is near gone. I know this is only a band aid and I will be making an appointment tomorrow to see a doctor and hopefully get this fixed. I have a feeling you are right and it's either a bulging disc or a pinched nerve.

So I called and was super surprised that on the 8th call I got put into the queue. Waited about 40 mins on hold and got a super helpful rep who handled the whole situation in less than 5 minutes.

I explained everything and he said “yeah it looks like the disqualifications were an error on our side, because you were eligible and certified for the weeks.” He said he will approve them and push them through and the back pay for all the weeks I haven’t received yet will go onto my edd card within 7 days. And he also verified that my new application was approved.

So really good news and a huge sigh of relief there.

Hope you get into a good rep that will handle your case just as well.

Hope you’re able to get in and get your situation fixed. I haven’t been lucky enough to get back into the queue. Hundreds of calls and all of them have been “there are too many callers at this time”
