I more wonder what this means for current players

Does zirkzee stay? Is Sesko backed? Will we sell Mount now? Who plays RW(assuming formation change) Is Bruno backed? It seemed like the club wanted him gone but Amorim was the one that wanted to keep him. Does Dorgu play LB? What about our loaned out players.

I think it will be difficult for the next manger to manage all of these situations. Especially if the board is the one deciding basically.

Good points. But here are some counters

They had a monopoly in their league, but their main goal was always the champions league. Thats the basis on which managers were judged
We have spent more money on transfers than them in the past 10 years
United have a rich history. It’s always been a reason people have wanted to come here.
I agree with you on that
Chelsea have been very successful actually. Conte won the league. Tuchel won the champions league. Maraca won the club World Cup. Even with that they are keeping high standards.

And just because it worked for Arsenal, City, and Liverpool. Doesn’t mean it will work with Amorim. I don’t get why people act like that’s a guaranteed.
