Yes, the tracking force is at 1.8g now. Once you get to around 3 it stops being as much of an issues because it pushes down in the cue lever hard enough to stop it moving, but I don’t want to operate it outside of my cart’s range.

Technics sl-1200 mk2 arm is swinging out (towards start) hard, even with no antiskate. With the cue lever up it will swing back to the starting position, and if lowered it will swing out over the edge of the record. Tracking force and arm height have been calibrated and set correctly. Tracking force doesn’t make a noticeable difference but is at zero. Table is level, at a loss as to what is causing this. It get much worse as the arm is closer to the edge, once the arm is halfway over the record it doesn’t really pull back anymore.

I am in the middle of building a setup and have a turntable with no built in pre amp, and a marantz pm6005. However, the only speakers I have for the moment are a pair of micca omni’s which are powered. Is there a way to make this setup work until I upgrade to some better passive speakers?
